GO encompasses all aspects of the cleaning process, improving indoor air quality, recycling and minimizing the use of raw materials and toxic products that require disposal. We seek to have a positive effect on the health of the building occupants and cleaning personnel, while also striving to minimize any effects on the environment. Green Opportunities P It is a comprehensive approach to helping our customers clean their facilities to protect health without harming the environment. Proper Cleaning Procedures P GO (Green Opportunities) that consist of support from Southwest Paper that help customers learn proper cleaning procedures, processes and planning to safely and effectively clean their buildings. As, partners we also, focus on cleaning chemicals, equipment, and accessories required to perform the cleaning functions. P GO is our program that has been adopted from Executive Order What is Green Cleaning? Green Cleaning: Green cleaning refers to using cleaning methods and products with environmentally friendly ingredients designed to preserve human health and environmental quality. Federal agencies are directed by federal laws, regulations and executive orders to make purchasing decisions with the environment in mind. EPA created the Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Program in 1993 to help federal officials meet these requirements. Most recently, these requirements have included Executive Order Federal Leadership in Environmental, Energy and Economic Performance, which orders federal agencies to use sustainable practices when buying products and services.
