6 ENVIRONMENT LIFETEK PMS In compliance with European standards UNI EN 12341:2014 CURRENTLY THE SYSTEM IS UNDERGOING CERTIFICATION BY TUV RHEINLAND IN COLOGNE LIFETEK PMS is a control unit for continual monitoring of atmospheric particles, using the gravimetric method, on a filtering membrane having a diameter of 47 mm. The sequential replacement system of the membrane, holding up to 16 filters, along with the electronic flow control, allow continual unmanned monitoring; it also allows to replace the exposed filters without having to stop the sampling under way. A thermo-regulated and differentiated conditioning and heating system allows to use the booth under extreme environmental conditions without affecting the electronic components and keeping the sampled filters at controlled temperature. Easy to carry, can be housed in OUTDOOR environments, because it is made of materials able to ensure adequate protection against atmospheric agents. The system consists of 2 sampling lines that are selected sequentially through a solenoid valve. The "cyclical" function allows to perform 24-hour sampling synchronizing filter change at midnight, allowing to retrieve the sample filter at any time of the following day. 7 ACCESSORI ENVIRONMENT To complete the instrumentation, Mega System is able to offer a range of accessories for sampling PM 10, PM 2.5, PM 1, SPM, PAH, dioxins, furans and XAD2, in compliance with the European and American standards. 9 MULTIPOINT Innovative and revolutionary automatic system for measuring the flow rate in a flue based on the simultaneous detection of the velocity values at each point of the measuring section in accordance with the specifications of the standard UNI EN ISO The system consists of the measurement and processing unit ISOCHECK MULTIPOINT and a particular sensor on which it is possible to mount up to 17 test probes (Darcy), the thermocouple and the static pressure socket. The probe is made of stainless steel and can reach the maximum length of 6 meters, connecting up to 3 support modules. 11 X1 - APIS X1-APIS is the most advanced version of the automatic isokinetic samplers available on the market; it allows to measure velocity and flow rate in accordance with the UNI EN ISO and emission sampling in accordance with the UNI EN and ISO It is equipped with independent sensors for detecting differential, static and barometric pressure that meet the "accuracy" specifications required by the law. It is possible to install a 4 m 3 /h dual head diaphragm pump or alternatively, a 6 m 3 /h rotary pump. A feature that makes it unique is the ability to install the O 2 sensor (ELECTROCHEMICAL or paramagnetic) and the Carbon Dioxide (NDIR) sensor for the calculation of the density of the effluent in accordance with the regulations, recording its values during sampling with real-time adjustment of the isokinetic flow. The installation of a card for the acquisition of 4-20 ma / 1-10 V signals allows to record in the sampling report the data from other instruments (eg. analysers connected to the gas line of the X1-PROBE) or to use the acquired parameter for calculating the isokinetic flow in real-time. It is also possible to control the X1-CHILLER and the X1-PROBE adjusting all the temperature signals with data recording in the sampling report. EMISSIONS ARTIK XP ARTIK XP is a cooling system with automatic temperature control which can host various types of accessories (e.g. condensate collectors, glass condensers, etc.), allowing to perform sampling operations where the accessory cooling temperature needs to be constant for a very long time also in critical conditions (ambient temperature 35/40 C). The cooling temperature of the liquid inside the large tank is regulated and controlled by the built-in digital thermostat. It is suitable to cool the condenser of the micropollutants and the impingers for sampling acids and metals even simultaneously on two separate sampling lines. The high cooling capacity allows to make long-term sampling in critical situations (environmental temperature C), where it is essential to ensure a constant, controlled low temperature. The digital thermostat, on request, can be connected via serial cable to the X1-APIS isokinetic sampler in order to record the temperature of the bath and of the gases during sampling. 12 EMISSIONS STANDARD PROBE The STANDARD probes are made entirely of stainless steel. They integrate the measuring tube (Darcy with thermocouple) and the sampling tube with nozzles and filter holder that, united by the slider and fastener to the flue, allow to perform isokinetic sampling of dusts in emissions in stacks without or with little condensation. All components are designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of UNI EN ISO and UNI EN The assembled probe can be used in flues with inlet hole with the minimum diameter of 80 mm. The slider which is fixed to the stack allows tube handling in parallel to the execution of automatic isokinetic sampling. They are completely removable to facilitate transport and allow the use of the measuring tube independently of the sampling tube in small stacks. maximum temperature of usage 600 C available in different lengths: 500 mm mm mm mm mm SINGLE TUBE PROBE The single tube modular probe is made entirely of stainless steel and allows to perform isokinetic sampling of dusts in large stacks and with low temperatures. It consists of a sampling head connectable to a series of extensions that allow to mount a probe with a maximum length of 6 m. The sampling head integrates the measuring tube and the sampling tube on which you it is possible to mount the filter and the nozzle. The extensions can have different lengths and have a diameter of 60 mm. Within the extensions run the pneumatic connections that are made with silicone tubing. 13 THERMO DL HEATED PROBE The THERMO DL heated probes are suitable for sampling in emission where it is necessary to maintain a high temperature of the filter medium due to the presence of condensable substances in the gas to be sampled. They are made of stainless steel to ensure the necessary resistance to temperature and corrosion due to the aggressiveness of the gases in the flue. The temperature of the heated tube and the temperature in the external box are adjustable up to 200 C and are controlled independently by the THERMO DL thermostat which is placed under the external box. The THERMO DL thermostat is equipped with 2 inputs for auxiliary temperature sensors and HOST USB port for data download. The DATA LOGGER function allows to record temperature values at programmable intervals. EMISSIONS X1 - PROBE HEATED PROBE X1-PROBE is a heated probe suitable for sampling micro-pollutants, metals and acids in emission that includes a sampling tube, a measuring tube and a SEPARATE TUBE for sampling GASES/ACIDS, protected by a filter in sintered paste. It can be used on any flue, even if horizontal, also thanks to the possibility of separating the external box from the heated tube and of mounting it rotated by 90. The temperature of the tube and the temperature of the external box are adjustable up to 200 C and are independently controlled via the thermostat under the box, equipped with 2 inputs for auxiliary temperature sensors and HOST USB port for data download. The DATA LOGGER function allows to record temperature values at programmable intervals. It is possible to prepare the probe for the connection via serial cable to the isokinetic sampler X1-APIS to adjust and record automatically from the instrument all temperature signals. X1 - SWIRL The standard UNI EN ISO provides for the establishment of a new parameter required for the measurement of velocity and flow rate in gaseous flows: the SWIRL. X1-SWIRL is an accessory designed for use with measuring tubes and probes of any kind and allows to easily check the angle of the tangential flow compared to the axial direction. measuring range: +/- 180 resolution 0.1 zeroing: in any position MEGA SYSTEM 13

15 EMICHECK SERIES The portable analysers of the EMICHECK series are suitable to easily, quickly and accurately detect and monitor the emissions of fumes and gases generated by the different combustion processes. You can insert 3 to 8 sensors, choosing among: O 2 - CO - NO - NO 2 - SO 2 - C x H x CO 2 -CO 2 IR. The sensors used for gas detection are of electrochemical type, except for those used to detect the Total Hydrocarbons and the Carbon Dioxide, which are respectively a catalytic thermistor and an IR (infrared ray) sensor.
