The detectors will connect to any analogue or IP camera via an OPTEX IP encoder and some models will allow the tracking of people, vehicles or an object across camera pre-set views, making the operator task easier. New and improved design features include mounting height options of up to four metres; anti-mask and anti-vandal features; and a three axis-accelerometer to warn if the device has been tampered with or re-oriented.
