4 Learning Key Learning Key lin=20.5a lin=20.5a LED Modules Constant Current WAYS OF DIMMING: PRIMARY, 0-10V AND WIRELESS DIMMING The Tronix Architectural Modular Lighting System offers different dimming possibilities; we here present the most popular methods: Primary dimming This is the most popular way of dimming, often used when replacing traditional 50mm halogen lamps or at small projects. This way of dimming takes place at the primary (20V) side and is based on triac dimming. For this way of dimming we recommend our Tronix LED driver art , but you can also use most LED dimmers of other brands like Gira, Berker, etc. 0-10V Dimming This way of dimming is most effective because it uses a separate dimming signal. 1-10V dimming is usually applied for new projects where it is easy to offer an extra signal cable for 1-10V (next to a 20V system). For this way of dimming we recommend our Tronix LED driver art , but you can also use most LED dimmers of other brands like Gira, Berker, etc. Wireless Dimming This way of dimming is quite popular at smaller projects in e.g. hotel rooms, porches, living rooms etc. The dimmer works with a memory function and a soft touch on/off switch for a high and luxurious user experience. 1. 18 Plug & Play Connectors Work and Material saving The Tronix modular system is ready to plug in which saves a huge amount of time in assembly. The low energy consumption of the wiring also results in major savings, as only very little current runs through the wires. Thick wiring is therefore unnecessary. IMPORTANT! The modules must always be switched in series. When these connectors are used, this is done automatically.
