Like MRO service companies nationwide, AMES needed more specialized sheet metal and structural repair talent to help meet the growing demand for MRO services. The company worked with JobsOhio and Dayton Development Coalition to secure funding to create a customized six-month on-the-job training program. The JobsOhio Workforce Grant gave us the financial support we needed to create a customized training program. This training is enabling us to develop some of the talent we need to expand and serve more aviation companies in Ohio.
