33 Weatherford Damaged Control Line Application and Solution The WDCL system allows retrofitting of SSV control line in wells where: - Existing control line has become blocked, parted or burst. No SSV was originally installed but now mandated. Replacement for unreliable storm valves. The system consists of the following (bottom up): - WDCL Subsurface Safety Valve c/w wet connect Stinger and Short Capillary string Control line hanger. The WDCL SSV is: - Controlled using the new control line. Does not affect ESD procedures.

34 WDCL Summary / Run History Can be fitted in damaged or nippleless wells with a packer. Resume production faster than scheduling a workover. Rigless method to return SSV functionality.
