Power for boats up to 8m For cooking appliances, a permanent, legible warning label, with a minimum character height of 4 mm, shall be affixed in a conspicuous position, on, or adjacent to, the appliance (cooking stove or oven) which shall provide at least the following information in a language acceptable in the country of intended use: Each craft that is required to have an exhaust blower shall have a label that is located as close as practicable to each ignition switch, is in plain view of the operator, has the symbols in accordance with ISO or at least the following information in a language acceptable in the country of sale. Note: "4 min" shall be at least 5 mm high For craft having more than one helm station, at least one helm station shall meet the vision requirements of this International Standard. Other helm stations that do not meet the requirements of this International Standard shall display a sign at these helm stations, in clear view of the operator, with the ISO symbol for caution, and at least the following information in a language acceptable in the country of operation: All craft with installed engine power or designed to be engine powered, shall display a permanent power capacity label. For outboard powered craft this label shall be located so as to be easily visible to the operator; for inboard, inboard-outboard and inboard water jet powered craft, it shall be located in the cockpit interior or in the engine compartment of the craft. The label shall give the maximum propulsion power rating of the craft as determined in accordance with this International Standard. Outboard powered craft supplied by the manufacturer for tiller or optional remote steering shall display a maximum propulsion power rating on the capacity label identified for both steering configurations and operator positions, if not of equal value. The maximum propulsion power rating indicated on the capacity label shall be expressed in symbols, in accordance with ISO 11192, and/or in a language acceptable in the country of use. If polarity indicator is activated, immediately disconnect cable. 4. Disconnect shore-power cable at shore-power source first. 5. Close shore-power inlet cover tightly.
