2 SIGNALMATS What is a Signalmat? Signalmats detect presence and use a relay to turn a device on or off. What makes us unique? - It s not a contact switch, we scan the mats 50 times per second. - Non-moving objects can be zeroed out. It ignores a chair on top but not the person sitting on it. - They are flexible and lightweight. - Are available as Single or Multi Zone Mats. - Wide range of shapes, patterns and colors. - Single piece design eliminates daisy chain wiring. - Approved for dry, wet and oily applications. - Offer outstanding ergonomic (anti-fatigue) benefits and helps to prevent slips and falls. - Basic Signalmats passed the British Spill & Impact test. Where are they used? Signalmats are used in a variety of application. Industries who benefit include: manufacturing, distribution, retail, elderly & healthcare, schools, office buildings, warehouse, convenience stores, residential homes and more. 3 APPLICATIONS RETAIL INDUSTRIAL HEALTH & ELDERLY CARE Signalmats notify workers when customers approach a service desk or display, operate interactive displays, indicate dressing room occupancy or signal an alarm when a secure area is accessed. Signalmats turn on/off lighting and electrical in a work cell, provide proximity warnings around machinery, send notifications when emergency exits are blocked or ensure proper employee positioning for operating machinery. Signalmats alert caregivers of patient movements, control lighting, signal entrance to restricted areas or monitor entrances and exits. SCHOOLS & PUBLIC BLDG. MARITIME RESIDENTIAL Signalmats monitor entrances, signal a camera or security employees to pay attention, control lighting, report presence in restricted areas and monitor entrances and exits. Signalmats can be easily integrated into boat security systems. They do not have to be oriented or programmed and don t pick up a rocking from waves and other movements. Signalmats can be easily integrated into home and building security systems, monitor entrances, signal a camera, control lighting or notify a parent when a child leaves a room or attempts to exit the residence.
4 TYPES The Basic Our Basic pressure sensitive underlayment can be fully integrated into a wide range of commercial and industrial mats. Basic Signalmats, can be installed directly under a variety of commercial floor finishes including but not limited to, carpet, wood, LVT, epoxy flooring. Retrofit In close cooperation with leading manufacturers we imbed our basic material into a double layer of nitrile rubber, vinyl or any other suitable material. The Retrofit Signalmat can be easily installed under existing mats. Retrofits are suitable for the rental space. They remain in place, only the top mat will be exchanged for cleaning. Commercial built-in The Commercial Built-In is designed and manufactured by leading entrance mat manufacturers. This enables us to also supply a full range of commercial entrances and display mats in all kinds of shapes, patterns and colors with our sensor technology build in. Industrial built-in A full line of industrial and anti-fatigue mats for industrial applications have been designed by leading manufacturers. Approved for dry, wet, oily and slippery applications the Industrial Built-In offer outstanding ergonomic benefits and helps to prevent slip and falls.
