See all of our Covington s Grown bedding plants so you can pick your favorites to design the garden of your dreams. Follow these tips for the best success in growing your bedding plants: 1. Before planting your flowers, amend the soil in your flower beds to add nutrients and improve aeration. Do this by mixing compost and expanded shale (already pre-mixed in our Covington s Soil Builder) into the soil. This will break up the clay and give you a soil that is fluffy and easy to plant in. 2. Fertilize your flowers with Bone & Blood Meal plant food to keep plants healthy and promote more blooms. 3. Top dress your flower beds with a 2 layer of mulch to help retain water and give your landscape a beautiful finished look. 4. Water your flowers as needed and enjoy!
