2 SUMMARY AND SCOPE OF WORK In 850 Lowes Stores we are to conduct in store training on the newly installed Kohler Pure Fresh Toilet Line. This is a 60 minute task to be completed before or after Lowes Service. In all stores, you are asked to complete training on this program with what Lowes Plumbing Associates and managers that you can gather. YOU MUST SUPPLY THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION FOR THE LOWES ASSOCIATES AND MANAGERS THAT YOU TRAIN. FIRST NAME LAST NAME POSITION EXAMPLE: JOHN SMITH- STORE MANAGER NOT ACCEPTABLE AND WILL BE REJECTED AND CAUSE A REVISIT: Store Manager Joe the PSA I did not get a name one was available to train. You must complete this training in the store. 3 TRAINING OUTLINE Please use the discussion points below to guide the PK Training Session and POP Installation 1. Watch the Purefresh Video with store personnel. 2. Discuss the following Kohler Purefresh Toilet Seat features Carbon Filter- Neutralizes Odors for up to 6 months and the Scent Pack delivers a light, clean scent (optional) The seat has an automatic 8-hour Dual LED Nightlight that functions as a task light when lid is lifted and a guiding light when lid is closed Integrated fan activates when the user is seated and does not require being plugged in. (2) D batteries required- not included Features Quiet Close, Quick Release, Quick Attach and is available in Elongated and Round It is a Retail Exclusive to Lowe s 3. Was the endcap present? * 3 Locate and introduce yourself to store management including the Store Manager, Assistant Manager and the Department Supervisor and explain the purpose of your visit? Did you notify each member of management? * 4 Enter the first and last name and title of the manager you checked in with. * 5 Ask store management to assist and request that available management and associates gather at the Purefresh Innovation Endcap located near the Fashion Bath Department. Were you able to get assistance and gather store personnel? * 6 When starting the PK Training session, first watch the Purefresh video located at the endcap. Training - purefresh Service Call Procedures Make sure you have a copy of the Kohler vember Training PLK printed and with you as it contains the PK product features and instructions to be used during the PK and POP installation Introduce yourself to members of store management and explain the purpose of your visit and ask that they assist in assembling any available managers and associates to attend the product knowledge session at the Kohler purefresh end cap Locate the Kohler Purefresh end cap. Gather any Fashion Bath associates and ask them to come over to the Purefresh innovation endcap. Watch the Purefresh video, that should be running continuously on the endcap. Review the features & benefits of the Purefresh toilet seat. (slide 4) Review the features & benefits of the Purefresh toilet. (slide 5) Review how the Purefresh works. (slide 6) Review the LED nightlight operation. (slide 7) Review Purefresh Grip-Tight Q3 Toilet Seat Features Review Purefresh accessories. 12 Kohler purefresh toilet seat LED Nightlight Operation Press the power button on the rear of the seat to begin or reset the 8-hour nightlight period The 8 hour period reoccurs daily at time of initiation. For example: if set at 10pm, the light will automatically turn on at 10pm and turn off at 6am everyday. To turn off the nightlight, press and hold the power button for 3 sec To reset the cycle time, simply turn off and then on again at desired start time. Light must also be reset when battery pack is removed. Comments Must provide a Value-add to the client and contain useful feedback that is both informative and actionable Demonstrate a high level of interaction at every level from Store Associates to Store Managers (Full names and titles) Validate successful execution of the service visit expectations associated with the program Presented professionally with close attention to correct grammar and punctuation (spelling, capitalization, sentence structure) Quality Comment Example I met with Kitchen & Bath DH John Smith. We spoke about the Kohler products. John said that he likes the quality and promotes the Kohler product. I was able to PK 12 managers and associates including the Store Manager Mary Jones, Plumbing ASM George Rudolph. The store visit went well and I anticipate the event in this store being very successful as the store is engaged and excited about the promo. Spoke to the Store Manager Charlie Johnson and we got with the ASM Alan West and DH Rudy Perez and discussed the reason for my visit and they immediately put together a large group of 20 store associates including the SM, 2 ASM s, and 18 Associates to attend the PK session. Once we were done, I was confident that they knew much more about the Kohler products and will do a great job selling them in the future.
