2 NEWS AND NOTES Black Cloud SOS Project Updates: There are still over 100 stores with no action on this project has been reported. We have completed 2 visits for the SOS Black cloud. With this Cycle visit we need to complete this project, below are a list of scenarios that technicians should report complete if the following is complete and/or if the following displays are up: Kichler items , Models, Regular SOS Stores 34422, 34421, or Top 300 stores LED Models 34427, 34428, Kichler SOE items , and Belair items 93788, Models PL 1005 AGB and PL 7935 PW Item Models G PN I and G PN I from Good Earth are showing up now. WE MAY COMPLETE THE PROJECT IF THESE ARE NOT UP. These are for the PSA to put up., we can and should put them up if there is time but you can complete the project without these displays up. 1. Item Model BIS9300 will NOT be in the store. The project CAN be completed if this display is not up. 2. If these displays are up then we should be show complete for the project. 3. Can I complete the project if I cannot locate or put up the following? I am missing one or more of the 3 existing displays (SOE items , Item Model or Item RLCH ) Can I call the project complete?, Yes, answer yes and complete the project 4. I cannot locate the double pouches, can I complete the project? Yes, Notate they were not located in the project but answer yes and complete the project. 5. I cannot locate the special feature cards, Can I complete the project? Yes notate in the project that the cards are missing and complete the project. 6. The black mesh cannot be located or the store does not want it up, can I complete the project? Yes 7. I had to order parts for a display, can I complete the project even though the display is missing these parts or the display is not up because these parts are not in? Yes complete the report and indicate the parts are ordered. Proper placement can be obtained by reviewing your current planogram and hangman rotation schedule on LowesNet. PLEASE MAKE SURE STORE DOES NOT PUT THIS ITEM ON CLEARANCE, as it will be a stock item going forward. 4 LOWE S IN-STORE SERVICE PROJECT NAMES The table below outlines the sections of a project s title to provide you a better understanding of how to interpret each part. It is very important that you work your projects in the priority order that is assigned. PROJECT NAME SAMPLE 9913 FLP-1-(NO SISO) Store 424 Track Panel Review Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 PART DESCRIPTION [1] This number is the project, service visit, or service task number. Every project, service visit, or service task is assigned a unique number. [2] FLP stands for Fashion Lighting Project. This acronym is placed in all Lowe s In-Store Service project titles to identify and help distinguish these projects from others that are scheduled. [3] This number represents the priority order which a particular project needs to be completed in relationship to others that assigned to a store. Other descriptors that may appear in this areas include: COM This stands for complete and identifies a project where no other stores need to be scheduled. PD This stands for past due and identifies where a project s work order or service tasks was to be completed on a previous visit. If assigned a service tasks that contain PD in its title, then compete these first, before moving to ones that are listed with a priority number. RT This stands for routine and represents the service visit, not a task work order associated with the visit, which contains the report for the overall visit. This report must be completed and submitted as part of successfully finishing a service visit and is used for IVR SISO requirements. [4] NO SISO This identifies that the work order is a service tasks and Field Technicians are not to SISO for this project as it is to be completed as part of a store s service visit. SISO This identifies that the work order is the store s service visit and is the one that requires the Field Technician to use for IVR SISO requirements. 7 Visit 5A - Service Task FLP (NO SISO) BOXED LAMP SURVEY In 789 stores technicians will be responsible for the following: (1.) Determine if there is a Boxed Lamp Bay adjacent (SIDE BY SIDE) to ANY OF THE 5 Specialty BAYS BELOW IN YELLOW. (2.) If Yes, Determine which Specialty Bay is located adjacent to the Boxed Lamp Bay, (Coastal, Console, Lodge, Showroom 1, or Showroom 2) (3.) Measure the Specialty Bay from the floor to the top of the beam of the display shelf (See dotted line example in below in the Coastal Lamp Bay) BOXED LAMP BAY Ultimately Lowes would like to expand the Boxed Lamp bay. 10 Visit 5A Service Task FLP (NO SISO) WORKLIGHT AND SOLAR MOTION PROJECT In all store we will locate the Motion Lighting Bay(1) and Work Light & Exit Bay and remove if not already removed all dropped items shown in table below and reset bay according to Lowes POG with the New Items listed below in table. Please note that the Work Light & Exit Light Bays will may be set differently and 3 bay and 4 bay set stores, i.e. 3 Bay Set Store Work light and Exit Emergency Bays are combined in Bay 3 4 Bay Set store, Exit and Switch Control Bay are combined in Bay 3 ( Should have been set in a previous project 4 Bay Set Store, Work lights are alone in Bay 4. Also, in some stores Bay 4 (Work lights) may not be in the same aisle as the other Bays Essentially Technicians will: 1. Print new Planogram assigned to the store Motion and Work lights 2. Locate all NEW Product and displays 3. Move any existing displays to clearance. 4. Build and bracket any missing existing displays and place in the correct location in the display area. 5. Print and place 3x5 signs for displays as needed 6. Take Photos of completed reset. 7. Make sure displays are secure and stable ALL WORKLIGHTS MUST BE SECURED TO BAY TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL FALLING OF WORKLIGHTS. USE ZIP TIES WHERE APPLICABLE FOR SAFETY REGULATIONS. 8. Then Ensure that the following is done DROPPED ITEMS and assist the store if necessary in Brand Item Description completing these tasks Cooper 9. 12 Visit 5B Service Task FLP (NO SISO) Seasonal Lamp Endcap In 212 stores we will be relocating the Energy Star Endcap for a Seasonal Summer Lamp Endcap (SEE PHOTOS BELOW) This project will take PRIORITY for Visit 5B. The Items in this Endcap will be available for a limited time; therefore it is imperative that it gets set ON TIME according to schedule. Technicians need to begin conversations with Store Managers early. The Energy Star items will go into clearance in 120 stores and 92 stores items will be moved to Inline. Locate and install Item # LED Full Range Dimming Bar onto the empty LED shelf on the bottom right of the Cabinet Accent Display. Please remove one item from take with and use as a display model. A RA# has been provided below. This display shelf and signage were pre-mounted during the last product rotation for this new item. Please refer the POG and photos below for reference. You also have received in your packet a purple full range dimming sticker. This is an important feature for this item and should be applied to the display just below the item. DO NOT remove from take with to use as the display for this item. This item should be installed next to the current white LED Puck Item # You received a black oval sticker in your shipment. Please place this sticker on the LED shelf signage above item # s and This will represent a new 10 bar (210178) that will be stocked but not on display. Please verify you set the take with product to the revised pog. 4. Please set the take with for each of the three new items to the updated pog. 5. Confirm you have successfully completed the Under-Cabinet & Accent Rotation by verifying your stores looks just like the new Display and take with POG. Reference the photo below of the left side of the bay to confirm you have made the correct changes. If you notice any other areas of the bay that are not set to the updated pog, please take time and correct these areas. 15 Visit 5B Service Task FLP (NO SISO) FLUORESCENT BAY UPDATE NOTE: Fluorescent Bay Items 1. Print your POG for Fluorescent Lighting and AUC Items will be shipped in the same 2. Locate and remove item # (Bronze Cambria box Sconce) from display and take with. Please make sure to remove the Indoor/Outdoor blue backing sign as well. Your store may have already sold through the display for this item. Any remaining inventory will need to be taken to a clearance area for quick sale through. You will need to reuse the Power chord so please keep this accessible after removing the display 3. Locate and remove two SOS displays item # s (Seine Chrome Sconce) and # (Seine Polished Brass Sconce). Please field destroy these displays. These are non-sellable displays and are not part of stock so please do not issue an RA for these items. Your store may not carry these SOS display items 4. Locate item # T8 Decorative Wrap. Please remove one item from take with and use as a display model. A RA# has been provided below. This item needs to be displayed on the left hand side to cover up the two holes created by removing the two SOS Seine sconces (please refer to your updated POG for exact placement). Please reuse the power chord (whip) to properly install this display. Please add the blue Energy Star tag to the price tag for this item. RA# Included in your project shipment box is a new sign to be displayed to the right hand side of item # The sign should be placed to the right of the display and will cover up the hole left by removing the Cambria Indoor/Outdoor sconce. Reference your updated POG and the photo below to confirm you have displayed this item correctly. 6. Please set the take with for new item #76833 to the updated POG. Place one sticker on each of these two display items. Please reference the photo below of what the stickers look like. Please place these stickers on items # Two Light 4 linear fixture, # Four Light 4 linear fixture Confirm you have successfully completed the Decorative Fluorescent Product Rotation by verifying your stores looks just like the new Display and take with POG. Reference the photo below of the left side of the bay to confirm you have made the correct changes. 18 Visit 5B Service Task FLP (NO SISO) D&C Vanity Refresh In 913 Stores we will complete a refresh of the Design and Combine (D&C) Vanity Display area. We will print the POG, remove 9 displays and build and install 8 new displays. We will also reset the shade display area as well. We are planning a couple of test sets for this project and will update the packet with more details before project begins on 6/20.
