3 HELLO The demand for interesting and innovative working environments is as high as it has ever been. The term third space working would seem to be de rigueur when discussing different ways of working and the concept of community building to refer to social surroundings. At its most simple, third space working is all about shared space, shared resources and shared ideas. The activity dictates the design. When the design is appropriate for the activity, people will accept it Donald Norman With that in mind we have created LinC. A totally modular product of standardised pieces and dimensions, providing simple assembly and straight forward re-configuration. Across the next few pages we will show you some examples of what can be created from the five pieces. We hope these simple permutations will form the starting point for your own ideas and solutions when creating working areas that inspire and promote interaction and communication.
