4 Belisle Millwork was established in 1971 when founder Jean-Claude Belisle and his wife Gemma Gagnon purchased an old mill to produce Custom Wood Windows & Doors

5 Belisle Windows is located in St Jean de Dieu, Quebec. North of New England along the south shore of the lower Saint Lawrence River near the City of Riviere du Loup known for its spectacular sunsets.

6 In the early days, Jean-Claude hired many family members to work as Employees of the Company. Belisle Millwork Supplied Customers in the Northern Canadian Market. The Strength of Belisle Windows continues even today Adapting the production systems to create custom designs Manufacturing the highest quality products to the complete satisfaction of Belisle customers. In the 1980 s Belisle Windows continued it s growth plans and gains expertise in very complex projects including historic replications of wood windows and doors.

8 In 1991, Jean-Claude completely rebuilds the Belisle factory and diversifies window products and streamlines the production to meet customer demand for Windows, Doors and Roof Truss.

9 Belisle Introduces a complete line of Custom Windows and Doors: Historic Reproductions Replications Single, Double and Triple Hung Windows Sliding Windows, Fixed Windows Entrance Doors, Terrace Doors Casement and Awning Windows Historic Inswing French Casement Windows and Terrace Doors with surface mounted Cremone Bolts Custom Wood Garage Doors

10 In early 1992 the company executes a major renovation project to modernize its facilities including: Factory Enhancements New Offices and Showroom Machinery Layout The company Belisle is now one of the most prominent window and door manufacturers the region.

11 In the fall of 1992 Jean-Claude dies suddenly in a devastating accident. It was a big loss for the company. Following the death of the founder, Dany Belisle and his wife Chantal Caron take over the family business. Dany becomes Chairman and Foreman while Chantal becomes CEO. The company has a new administration focused on continuing the Belisle business plan.

12 The company was focused entirely on the Custom Wood Window and Door Business. Dany and Chantal begin to export Belisle Architectural Window and Door Products to the United States Market. Everything was going well and the North American orders were coming in.

13 During the winter of 2001 a major fire destroyed the entire plant. Dany and Chantal decided to rebuild the factory because the backlog was full and many Belisle customers were counting on their window and door orders to be fulfilled.

14 The new Belisle Window plant takes shape in the spring and was inaugurated on August 25 th 2001

15 The US orders had continued growth and created an emergence of two distinct industries at Belisle. The Historic Landmarks Window Market The Luxury Premium Residential Market A new factory expansion is needed to meet demand.

16 Belisle Windows earns several Business Awards In 2002 for New Investment Project In 2004 for Manufacturer with the Highest Growth Belisle was now competing with large Wood Window & Door Companies in Canada and the USA.

17 A distribution network is established for the North American Market. Many new wood products and accessories are developed and tested. Belisle window products are tested and approved by Independent testing laboratories for certification. Introduces New Wood Patio Doors & Lift and Slide Doors Introduces New Panoramic Windows & Wooden Facades Introduces New Tilt & Turn Windows Push Out Casement Windows & Doors Adaptation of Retractable Screens on all products

18 In 2013 a new partnership is formed by three employees to purchase the family business and transfer from Dany and Chantal. The Belisle company is run by three owner-partners: Jean-Pierre Belisle is Production Director Michel Dumont is Accounting Director Kevin Thibault is Sales and Engineering Director

20 In 2015 Belisle Windows completed a major renovation of the factory adding new equipment. New CNC machining center for exact window and door machined components which created a redevelopment of the order entry department. Officially changed the corporate image and logo, to the trademark BELISLE ARCHITECTURAL WINDOWS AND DOORS. Added additional equipment including a planner with 4 digital faces and installed a large storage system for wood. Updated the finishing line systems
