4 THE BASIC CONCEPT OF FIELDS IS A MODULAR AND FLEXIBLE SYSTEM WHERE FUNCTIONS AND PARTS CAN BE COMBINED DEPENDING ON CUSTOMER NEEDS, CONDITIONS AND SPACE. WE HAVE CREATED THE BUILDING BLOCKS AND OPTIONS; NOW THE ARCHITECT CAN STEP IN AND USE THESE AS A BASIS FOR DESIGNING HIGH-QUALITY FUNCTIONAL WORKSPACES. OLLE GYLLANG, PROPELLER DESIGN AB Fields is designed by the Swedish designer Olle Gyllang from Stockholm-based Propeller Design AB, a renowned design agency with extensive experience in industrial design, interaction design and design strategy. A large part of the work of developing Fields was to create ideal conditions for different activity types needed in the working environments of today and tomorrow. From getting away on your own so that you can work and concentrate with no distractions, to various types of meetings and cooperation. The design has been balanced so that the parts can be combined while retaining a coherent expression. With the help of the colours and fabrics in Kinnarps Colour Studio, different styles of setting can be created. 6 7

WITH THE HELP OF THE MATERIALS AND FABRICS IN KINNARPS COLOUR STUDIO, ENVIRONMENTS WITH DIFFERENT CHARACTER STYLES ARE CREATED. When we work as a team, we meet and cooperate in various kinds of projects or workgroups. With Fields, we can create the environments that give us space to work and create together. 8 MEETINGS SOCIAL MOMENTS Meetings can be either spontaneous or planned. Regardless of how they arise, they are needed in a work environment. With Fields, you can create easily accessible rooms in a room solutions where various kinds of meetings can take place. In larger or smaller groups, standing or sitting, in the same room or online. Animated, inviting environments which are also structured and provide the necessary functionality. A place where we like to cooperate and meet. We all need to take a break at times. 9 YOU AND I INDIVIDUAL FOCUS It is when we work together, and share our computer screens and ideas, that we solve problems and make progress. With Fields, we find the place we need to be able to converse in peace and quiet. But also the practical environment we need to carry out our tasks efficiently. Screens, sofas and tables give us functionality and privacy so that we can focus. But we still have an openness and proximity to other colleagues, who we can invite in to participate if necessary. All in the service of an active working climate where everyone feels part of the process. In today s open climate it is also important to be able to withdraw in order to be able to focus. To find time to gather our thoughts, hit on new ideas or immerse ourselves in new material. Fields gives you space for individual focus. High-backed easy chairs and screens for privacy give us space to read, think or have a phone conversation undisturbed. 10 FIELDS - A SELECTION NO 1 NO 4 A versatile solution which gives you two functional environments. This seating group which combines two 3 seater sofas with screens, coffee table, side table and monitor screen is suitable for either planned or spontaneous small-group meetings. On the other side of the screen is a higher meeting table combined with bar stools. This can also be combined with a noticeboard or monitor screen. A Fields combination that suits lounge environments. Consists of pouffes combined with screen which forms a backrest, pouffe (1 seater, large low) and table. The low freestanding pouffe with soft edges and organic lines is easy to combine with various seating groups. The side table is available in laminate or veneer and is also practical to use as a laptop table. NO 5 NO 2 Co-creation space comprising four screens, co-creation table and stools. High-backed screens give privacy and a room in the room solution which suits both project meetings and creative meetings. On the inside of the screen is a noticeboard for sketching ideas. On the outside of the screen there are pots with plants for a cosy and animated feel. Here, space for individual focus is combined with a social area. The area for own focus consists of a working cove combined with table and a clothes hook on the outside for conveniently hanging outerwear. The tabletop has a socket for power supply. On the other side of the screen is a social area consisting of sofa, coffee table and pouffes. In combination with this meeting space there is also a monitor screen for convenient display of presentations. NO 3 NO 6 This combination consists of screens, tabletop and storage shelves which together form a temporary working area (working cove) and a storage area (storage cove). The working cove gives privacy and a drop-down area for individual work. The storage cove is a functional storage solution with shelves for handy storage of binders, brochures or magazines. The flexible modules and linkable screens form configurations which thread their way through the working environment. This solution, comprising sofa with low back, easy chairs with high backs, monitor screen, co-creation table, working cove, pouffe and storage cove, shows how, through one and the same arrangement, Fields supports many different activities during the working day

12 WORKING COVE CO-CREATION SCREEN Temporary workplace which gives privacy for individual focus. Consists of screen and tabletop which can be specified at three different heights, depending on whether you want to work standing or sitting (on a bar stool or task chair). Linkable to create new functionality. Stabiliser feet for stable placement, including uneven floor surfaces. Screen upholstered in fabric chosen from Kinnarps Colour Studio and laminate, veneer or solid wood tabletop. Screen for use as a connector between sofas and easy chairs with high back, Working cove or Storage cove. For connecting on two sides. A practical solution which gives you the possibility of creating flexible environments for work, follow-up discussions or meetings. You can choose to connect tables on one or two sides. Linkable. The screen consists of moulded plywood (beech/poplar) covered with 5 mm cut polyether which is then upholstered with a selected fabric (Kinnarps Colour Studio). The screen is 26 mm thick in total. Underneath the screen there are four adjustable stabiliser feet in metal and plastic (screw settings in metal and foot in black plastic (polypropylene)). Tabletop (23 mm) in laminate (white, grey, black, amouk, grey oak), veneer (ash white pigmented, oak, birch, beech) or solid wood (20 mm, oak, birch). The top has a 2 mm lipping which is made of wood in the veneer option and plastic in the laminate option. The solid top consists of strip bonded solid wood. Underframe black powder-coated metal.
