5 Tree Guard Sleeves Revegetation planting, Corangamite 2011 Sure Gro supplies a wide range of uv stabilised Plastic Tree Guard Sleeves. With varying heights, widths and thicknesses to choose from we have the Tree Guard for you! Standard Tree Guard Sleeves are 100um thick, whilst our High Performance Guards are 120um thick. Our Tree Guard Sleeves have been designed to substantially reduce the impact of uv radiation on the seedlings and therefore increase survival rates. This has been achieved through extensive research with polymer types and additives that have allowed us to reflect and absorb most incident uv radiation. Milk Carton Tree Guards Revegetation planting, Geelong 2014 Easy to use, economical and environmentally friendly, Sure Gro's range of Milk Carton Tree Guards are very popular within the revegetation industry. The standard 1 and 2 litre options breakdown in the field over 1-2 years (depending on moisture availability). Given their biodegradability and cost effectiveness these guards are one of the most popular for Land Managers nationally. Sure Gro Tree Max can also supply a cardboard composite range, that will keep its structure for 2 years+. This is ideal for moist areas or for areas where plants can take longer to establish. With varying heights and widths to choose from, we have the guard to suite your needs. The Sure Flute range has been shown to effectively protect plants from browsing kangaroos, rabbits and deer. These guards are highly durable and tough as compared to other Tree Guard materials. With heights ranging from 45cm to 90cm we have the best selection of Core Flute Tree Guards on the market! These guards come in either pre-assembled /welded or tabbed form depending on whether your plant is already in the ground. Tabbed Sureflute Tree Guards can also be reused for future tree planting. This products last longer than Jute erosion products as it takes longer to biodegrade in the field. Recycled Fibre Application Jute Matting Application Jute is an organic natural fibre that acts as a weed suppressant and retains moisture to support plant establishment. This whole process aids in preventing erosion by roadsides, wetlands, riparian areas, coastal and high wind sites and areas with slopes. 15 Erosion Control Bonded Recycled Fibre 1.8m X 50m (90m2) & 350 gsm. Bonded Recycled fibre is a strong Erosion Control material, produced using Recycled clothing and other textiles. Each roll covers 90m2, nearly double that of Jute matting. This cuts down your installation time. Used in all sorts of Civil, Erosion control and Weed control situations, much like standard Recycled fibre. Heat treated material. SureGro Treemax have now developed Bonded Recycled Fibre, offering stronger resistance to water shed other erosion causing issues. Being a higher graded material Bonded RF is able to do the job other materials are not able to perform. Last between months. Bonded RF will last 1-2 years in the field, depending on moisture availbility. This means you have maximum time for the material to do its job. Easy to install. Bonded RF is very clean and easy to work with, unlike some other materials on the market. It doesnt flake or cause dust. Aesthetically pleasing. 19 Erosion control & Site Maintenance Silt-worm Sediment control logs Silt-Worm is a ready-to-use biodegradable hessian sock filled with rice husks that creates a water-permeable barrier to filter sediment. Silt-Worm is ideal for use in curb and channel applications, swale drains or on erodable slopes. Silt-Worm sediment sock filters silt and gross pollutants from being washed into grates, drains, underground pipes and watercourses. Description Biodegradable ready-filled sediment control product.
