When the ventilation opening is fully open, you can ventilate your garage without vermin or leaves getting in. If a fire breaks out, a Lindab garage door reduces the quantity of toxic smoke by half. And the door does not feed the fire, so that in the event of a fire it will spread more slowly. The door panel is protected from frost, as we have chosen extruded polystyrene and thereby reduced water absorption from 3% to 0.5%. This means that you can keep the heat in and the cold out throughout the entire service life of the door. Our production methods and materials are environmentally friendly, and the components are 98% re-usable. 16 Assembling your new garage door Lindab s garage doors are manufactured for easy assembly. All components of the door are factory-finished, and all you need to do is assemble it, which only requires quite ordinary tools. There are detailed, easy-to-understand assembly instructions to help you. If you prefer to hand over assembly to a professional, we will of course also help with this. 16

18 Electrical door operation for all needs Electrical door operation from Lindab gives you a safe, convenient solution. All motor systems are fitted with a monitoring function and built-in burglary protection. If the system detects that someone is attempting to open the door, it will try to force it to close. For additional safety you can supplement the system with photocells. When it s raining, cold or dark it s no fun climbing out of the car to open your garage. But you can avoid this with an automatic garage opener that remote-controls the door from the car. Just press the button, and the garage door opens and the lighting in the garage comes on all you need to do is drive in, without getting your feet wet. 18

The polystyrene core is water-repellent, making our doors frostproof. The adhesion between the core and the covering surfaces is twice as good as previously, making the door even more sustainable. High insulation performance The panels keep the heat in and the cold out with a heat insulation value (U-factor) of 0.6 W/m² K. The panels and spacers can withstand high wind strengths and protect against draughts, enabling you to save energy. 50% less toxic smoke in the event of a fire Manufacturing a door with a core of extruded polystyrene results in a 50% reduction in CO 2 emissions (compared with polyurethane foam).
