Founded in 1992, and following the successful acquisition of the perimeter heating business of Copperad from Myson RCM the company then acquired the Warmline Perimeter Heating business from Biddle Air Systems two years later. Sill-Line Perimeter Heating Ltd. is unique in its UK business model by focussing exclusively on the sales, production and development of British made perimeter wall mounted and trench heating systems. The company is able to draw upon a great heritage of product lines established by the likes of Myson, Biddle, Copperad and Lennox, providing over 100 years of design experience within the present workforce. In 2002 Sill-Line Perimeter Heating Ltd. further acquired the natural convector business of Lennox Industries and during this period of rapid growth the original Daventry facilities were doubled in size. In 2006 to compliment its rapidly expanding natural convection businesses, Sill-Line Perimeter Heating Ltd. acquired the Spiral Wound Tubing business of Gunning Engineering, which added heavy duty steel heat emitters to its already comprehensive range of commercial products. 8 Dash 10 - Trench Heaters with Electric Elements FLEXIBLE GRILLE GRILLE FRAME SAFETY MESH HEATING MODULE 1200mm LONG 550 WATTS For locations which do not have access to a LPHW supply Warmline electric trench heating is an ideal solution. The 550w rated heating element is supplied in a 1200mm long x 205mm wide module. Multiple modules can be arranged in a continuous run with dummy sections, mitred corners, and column cut outs supplied if needed. Heating elements are of steel hairpin construction and have steel fins bronze welded to the core, this construction offers excellent heat transfer and an even temperature along the active length. Within the casing there are two high temperature limit stats fitted to the splitter plate. In the event of the casing grille being partly covered, preventing the air circulating through the casing and causing the temperature to rise above the desired maximum, the heating will be switched off until the cause of the temperature rise has been investigated by a competent person and rectified. There are safety shields fitted over the stats to prevent liquids which may be split into the casing coming directly into contact with the stat wiring terminals. The grille and grille frame are natural aluminium as standard. Anodised to AA 15 and finished in natural satin. 70% free area on the grill and 96% free area on safety mesh. A wide range of alternative grille finishes are available upon request.

9 Tel: Accessories for fan assisted models Controls and a power supply need to be added to trench heaters to enable them to function correctly. The Siemens controller (RTD201) acts as a thermostat and control module. It will control the fan speed and the flow of hot water through the trench unit. This flow is controlled via an electro thermal actuator which opens or closes a thermostatic valve. We would strongly encourage the purchase of a valve pack containing these component parts with each trench unit. This circuitry runs on 24v DC power which is provided from an internal power pack. It is possible to have a single power converter to supply 24v DC to multiple trenches which would be sized upon the overall load requirements. Our architectural roll up grille is the product of over 20 years development. It is anodised to AA15 and comes in natural satin finish although a range of other colours are available upon request. Our grille has a much higher metal content than those offered by rival manufactures and provides a truly fit and forget installation. This grille will last significantly longer than other designs which may also warp or bend under heavy loads. This grille comes in natural satin finish, but as a cost option can be offered in over 50 different anodised colours.
