1 SEB Series Trim Heater Cryoquip manufactures a new series of modular Trim Heaters. The new units are available for use with industrial gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, CO2 as well as other specialized gases. Improved features include: Removable and replaceable heater elements Low pressure drop Small footprint Lightweight and portable Electric Cryogen Trim Heater utilize high quality electric heating elements and stainless steel heat exchanger tubes. Heating elements and tubes are specially positioned in the highly conductive aluminum modules. Modules consist of multiple stainless steel tubes in parallel to provide low pressure drops. The electric trim heaters are made optionally for high purity applications which include electropolished tubing. The Uniflo vaporizer had significant advantages over conventional designs for high flow service. The heat transfer elements are connected in parallel, which eliminates the differential thermal gradients between extrusions. Counter flow heat exchange between the downward flow of air in natural convection and the upward flow of the cryogenic in the vaporizer improves the thermal performance substantially compared to conventional designs with the same surface area. Ice accumulates safely during continuous operation in the lower part of the vaporizer with ice free extrusions protruding out of the ice pack. The low ice build-up lowers the center of gravity and therefore, reduces structural requirements in meeting the Uniform Building Code (UBC). Employs the unique Cryoquip spar link design; an efficient attachment method that enhances load carrying capability, which maintains the highest level of structural integrity available in the industry, during all modes of transportations. Can be deployed or redeployed with ease since these units are capable of resting on a flat bed trailer without the need for added shipping pallets, support blocks, or other shipping pieces. Can be handled with a fork lift without the vaporizer sustaining damage. Can be tied down on a trailer without any additional crating provisions. Lifting eyes are provided to facilitate handling. Designed in accordance with the Uniform Building Code (UBC) and applicable sections of ANSI A Units available for seismic zone 4, and 100 mph (160 km/h) conditions with normal frost loading. Extra capacity. Each finned aluminum heat transfer element features eight fins which measure 8 inches (200 ) from tip to tip and provide high capacity performance and fast defrosting. Elements have approximately 5 square feet per foot length (1.5 square meters per meter length) of external heat-exchanger surface area. Low pressure drop, full-bore passages in the elements provides more flow cross section. Internal fins promote heat transfer with additional surface area. Pressure drop is less than 10% for the 1 day rating, based on 150 psig (10.3 bar) inlet pressure for all models except the L-18 and L-20 series. The performance of ambient air vaporizers is subject to many factors. These include flow, duty cycle, ambient temperature, relative humidity, freeze period, altitude, wind, solar radiation, operating pressure and proximity to adjacent structures. The effects of average solar and wind conditions are not included in the above ratings. Ratings are based on mean ambient conditions of 70ºF (21ºC) and 70% relative humidity. Special conditions may vary considerably for a particular application, thereby affecting performance. 5 VEC/VEB Series Electric Vaporizer Cryoquip manufactures a new series of NEMA 4 modular Electric vaporizers. The new units are available for use with industrial gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon (model VEB), and Carbon Dioxide (model VEC) as well as other special fluids. Heating elements and tubes are specially positioned within the highly conductive aluminum wafer modules. Heat transfer is further enhance in vaporizer units by means of a spirovane turbulence promoter within each stainless tube, which also reduces fluid slugging and surging. Special Designs are available for low temperature gas exit vaporizers with controls to provide exit gas temperature near saturated vapor for special applications.
