At the forefront of m SHUR/Cut SC2500 Non-Retracting & SC3500 Semi-Automa to automate specimen-arm advance / return & instantaneous switching between operator to focus on hand sectioning. Solid construction and precision engineer Recessed staging area for convenient placement of blades, brushes and other ancillary tools. Motorized Specimen arm has a 70 mm vertical stroke and a 20 mm motorized horizontal extension. Powerful over-dimensional cross roller-bearing guideways provide exceptional stability Instrument Display Panel SC2500 All models come standard with our most popular blade holder that accepts both high and low profile blades. Lateral displacement feature facilities the use of the entire disposable blade without moving the actual blade in the holder. The SC2500 has the same motorized trimming & sectioning thickness setting features as the SC3500 including one-speed specimen-arm advance & return; but, for the cost conscious budget without the added benefits of the specimen-arm position memory feature and the ergonometric hand-pad controller included with the SC3500. The control panel is positioned on the left front of the instrument for fingertip switching between sectioning & trimming functions. To increase or decrease the thicknesses, simply press the + and - signs accordingly. The specimen arm is easily advanced & returned by pressing the appropriate direction arrows. All models also display the number of revolutions and the total amount advanced since the last reset. When switching from TRIM to SECT, the counter automatically resets. Inclined hand-pad, adjustable feet and a long cord allow the hand-pad controller to be comfortably positioned on either side of the microtome for maximized personal comfort. Retraction can be turned On / Off by the push of a button. Automatic specimen positioning memory function facilitates removing a block for rehydration or cooling, and, with a push of a button after re-inserting the block into the specimen clamp, the electronic memory will reposition the specimen back to the original location.

SC4500 Instrument Display Panel Push-button switching between manual, continuous & single stroke cutting modes is managed by the intuitive hand-pad with the active mode indicated on the instrument display panel.
