For the first time, the actual temperatures of apartments are taken into account in heating control. The control is based on continuous temperature measurement in every apartment. Wireless temperature sensors are installed inside apartments. The controller regulates the heating of the building based on the average temperatures of apartments. In addition to saving energy in heating, the continuous measurement data can be taken into good use in building maintenance. The system is easily installed and reasonably priced and completely new to the market! The SiMAP control unit is installed in the heating distribution center. Measurement data is available for online viewing whenever and wherever. Controller settings can be adjusted both remotely and locally.

4 What products? SiMAP Control is based on continuous temperature measurement in every apartment. The heating controller optimises the temperature of circulated heating water based on the average temperatures of apartments. The average temperatures of apartments stay accurately at the set value. Measurement Wireless temperature sensors are installed inside apartments for continuous measurement. Due to the wirelessness, installation can be completed within minutes. In the sensors, batteries with the battery life of 10 years are used. Temperature/humidity sensors are also available. Data transmission A router is installed in the stairway, transmitting sensor signals to the controller. For a staircase of four floors, a single router is usually sufficient.

5 SiMAP Control Products Heating Control Unit A SiMAP heating control unit is installed in the heating central. The controller features 3 control circuits: one for heating and another for domestic hot water, for example. The control system also incorporates sensors for outdoor temperature and one for each heating circuit. Remote use The basic settings can be done both remotely and locally. The measurement data can be transmitted to a user s computer via the Internet or GSM. The measurement data is presented as graphical trends which allow monitoring temperatures in apartments, domestic hot water, etc.

The user interface of SiMAP Control is divided into two parts; one view for the temperature sensors of apartments and another for the heating central. Corrective measures can now be taken based on actual measured data. Measuring can also be used as a quality assurance method after repair work.
