2 Multivent Wholehouse extract ventilation Central Extract System The Multivent continuous mechanical extract ventilation range is designed for the simultaneous ventilation of separate areas in the home or as a multi-point extractor system for a wide range of commercial applications. In the home the system is usually located in the loft or airing cupboard with ducts taken to the bathroom, kitchen and utility room to remove water vapour at source and from WC s to remove odours. Designed to provide 0.7 of an air change based on the volume of the building, the Multivent system provides adequate ventilation, even in a tight dwelling. Pollutant concentrations and humidity can be controlled. Suitable for wall, loft or ceiling mounting. No cross contamination due to continuous running. Speed operation using PIR, manual switch, integral humidistat or wireless controller. Ideal for use with shower LuminAir Vent Light accessory. Can extract from a number of rooms, depending on size of dwelling. Multivent is ideal for a range of commercial multipoint extract applications such as WC s, fitting rooms, and kiosk's. The units can be installed at any angle and where the ambient air has a high humidity content condensate drains are provided. The Multivent H versions are now available with 2 control options. An integral humidity sensor that will detect any rise in humidity within the system and will boost between any 2 of the 3 speeds. 4 PoziDry Positive pressure wholehouse ventilation system Positive Pressure Ventilation For controlling condensation particularly in the refurbishment sector, the Vent-Axia pozidry offers a quick and simple solution. A loft mounted positive input fan draws fresh air from atmosphere, filters it and pushes into the dwelling via a ceiling mounted diffuser. All stale air in the property is forced out through the natural forms of ventilation, such as window mounted trickle vents. This entire design is a result of close consultation with the public sector authorities. This valuable feedback has resulted in special attention to key design features such as robust construction, longer life filters, user friendly operation, reliable controls and wiring flexibility. Installation It is simply installed, out of sight in the loft space, with a purpose-designed diffuser normally located over the stairwell of a conventional two story dwelling or in the main hall of a bungalow. PoziDry is set to the appropriate speed at installation based on the 14 dba using 8W of power on trickle vent. size of the dwelling, providing positive pressure input ventilation. 5 PoziDry Compact Positive pressure input ventilation system Positive Pressure Ventilation For those properties that do not have a loft, LoWatt PoziDry Compact provides an easy to install solution. The duct mounted unit that can be fitted in a number of locations around a single floor flat or apartment. Air is drawn into the PoziDry Compact unit via an external inlet* and through a short length of duct*. The specially developed fan/motor assembly (using the LoWatt DC motor technology) draws the air through an integral, high capacity, washable filter. The forward curved impeller guarantees increased efficiency, lower sound levels and better performance. The fresh, filtered airflow passes along the ducting and terminates on an internal wall with a discreet grille*. Available in 2 lengths, a standard version suitable for wall thicknesses of up to 310mm and an extended version suitable for wall thicknesses of up to 425mm. The Vent-Axia HR25 is available in 3 models, a standard version with pullcord control, a H version with an integral humidity sensor and a P version with integral PIR detector. Performance The units are fitted with a 24V DC motor and are supplied with a state of the art Switch Mode Power Supply (S.M.P.S.) This has the ability to operate at only 2 Watts power consumption on normal setting. A 5m cable is provided for fixed wiring of the unit to the S.M.P.S. Suitable for wall mounting only, not suitable for ceiling mounting. Meets building regulations for bathrooms and toilets. Easily installed using 152mm (6 ) core drill. Typical Installation The HR25P unit is designed for installation in a 152mm (6") core drilled hole. All installation can be carried out from inside the building. Maintenance Apart from removing odours, providing fresh air and recovering heat, this appliance extracts airborne impurities such as dust, dirt and grease. These gradually build up and detract from the efficiency and appearance of the appliance. Therefore to ensure peak performance, the appliance should be cleaned regularly. Filters should be replaced every six months or as conditions necessitate. The heat exchanger and grille should be washed in warm soapy water every twelve months or as conditions necessitate. Models HR25 The HR25 is fitted with a pull cord switch which operates the twin speed control function. No A B C D E mm F G H J K mm Low Energy Ventilation The Vent-Axia HR100S heat recovery ventilation unit is surface mounted with a 100mm diameter intake/extract duct through the wall to an external louvre grille. The motor is dual speed, offering a low speed 'trickle ventilation' rate of 30m 3 /h, and a high speed boost ventilation rate of 75m 3 /h extract. Ideal for condensation control of bath and shower rooms, whilst saving the majority of the heat. Heat Exchanger The model comes complete with a highly efficient, polymeric heat exchanger cube. The compact washable cube interleaves outgoing moist warm air with incoming fresh air and allows the heat from one to warm the other without the two air streams mixing. Up to 60% of the heat that could otherwise be lost is transferred to the incoming air,optimizing energy savings. Energy is saved on room heating with no power being used by the cube itself. Mains voltage units and associated controls must be out of reach of a person using a bath or shower. Easy Installation The HR100S model requires a nominal 115mm diameter hole through the wall.
