The fan is regulated by means of a room thermostat, thus providing exactly the desired room temperature. The new integral thermostats with recessable operating switches stand out due to their ease of use and highquality design.they can be supplied as accessories in a thermo-mechanical, and in an electronic version, with infinitely variable fan speed control and with an accuracy of ± 0,2 Kelvin. This allows heat to be provided even when the heater itself is empty, or not charged, e.g. on cool summer days. An especially economical operation of all Olsberg dynamic heaters can be achieved by connecting them to a fully-automatic Central Charge Control (accessory) for instance the Olsberg US4, ZG5 or WS4: This allows a continuous fully automatic charging of all the connected heaters, according to requirements and dependent on the outside temperature and residual heat in the heater.

The new super-slim storage heaters in the PROFIL range are Olsberg s most compact heaters. 14 HOMELY ASTRAL the static storage heater Innovation from Olsberg Homely warmth newly designed Olsberg also offers static storage heaters in seven different sizes in order to complement their range of dynamic storage heaters, so successfully marketed throughout the world. Static storage heaters emit their heat via their outer surfaces and through natural convection. This means: they work without the use of fans. The heaters are thus ideal for use in bedrooms, children s rooms and other subordinate rooms such as hallways, stairways or corridors. That is to say those areas where an exact room temperature is not necessary. The static storage heaters of the ASTRAL range are available with manual and automatic charge controls. Four ratings (0.85/1.7/2.55/3.4 kw) are available with the manual control, three ratings (1.7/2.55/3.4 kw) with the automatic control (90% room temperature influence). The ASTRAL Combiheater range (with Electro- Direct-Convector) and the Intelligent Version (for connection to a fully automatic central charge control) are each available in three ratings. 16 ASTRAL Combiheater two heating systems in one appliance ASTRAL Combiheater The ASTRAL Combiheater gives you two heaters in one appliance. It is the ideal combination of a static storage heater and an integral electric convector heater and offers flexible heating comfort at any time of the year. In winter the storage heater module provides comfortable and economic heat. At all those times when the storage heater module does not suffice, or is switched off, the electric convector can be switched in at any time as required. In spring or autumn, or on cool summer days, you can heat quickly and conveniently with the factory-fitted integral electric convector. The desired room temperature can be set from 5-35 C using the integral room thermostat. If the electric convector is left on, it continues to heat automatically when the storage module is empty and the room temperature is lower than required. The ASTRAL Combiheater can thus be used as a frost protector. Three different heater sizes allow the ideal choice of heater for your requirements. Well laid-out controls 16

17 ASTRAL Intelligent Ideal as a combination with dynamic storage heaters ASTRAL Intelligent The ASTRAL Intelligent is perfectly suited as a combination with dynamic storage heaters such as CARAT, PROFIL, CENTURY, MONTANA or IMPACT. Dynamic storage heaters are often connected to a fully automatic central charge control in order to achieve an especially comfortable and economic operation. This charge control provides a continuous fully automatic charging of all connected heaters according to requirements, taking into account both the outside temperature and the residual heat in the storage core. The ASTRAL Intelligent can be controlled using a factory-fitted 80% duty cycle control resistance connected to a central charge control, just like a dynamic storage heater. Thus, with ASTRAL Intelligent you can benefit from all the advantages of a static storage heater as well as the advantages of a fully-automatic charge control. With 3 different ratings you will always find the heater best suited to your requirements. 17

Their advantages are shown especially in the transition periods spring and autumn and also as a supplement to any other heating system. Olsberg direct heaters are especially beneficial in places where continuous heating is not necessary, for instance in utility rooms, guest toilets, cellars, bathrooms and also in bedrooms. The CORONA Series is suitable for both living rooms and bathrooms alike as all the heaters are splash-water proof and safety insulated. CORONA convectors provide a natural convection in the room. Cool room air is guided in to the heater from below, heated by special aluminium winged heating elements and distributed evenly back to the room by the laminated air-outlet grille. Direct warmth you can take that literally: The heat output is totally noiseless and, by means of the threefold heat exchange area of the special aluminium winged heating elements, 4 to 5 times quicker than using conventional heating elements. The new digital thermostat guarantees that the required temperature is held to exactly 0.1 C. A night-time set-back switch allows the temperature to be automatically reduced by 4 C at night. The wall-mounting brackets provide a simple fixing of the ready to use heaters. The attractive, compact heater series comes in eight ratings from 500 to 2500 W. Olsberg high-speed heaters Olsberg high-speed heaters are especially suited for bathrooms and toilets. A thermostat and a fan for quick air circulation are factory-fitted. Olsberg offers the automatic high-speed heater additionally equipped with a 60-minute timer. The special advantage: during the set time the heater runs at full rating, after that the temperature set on the thermostat is maintained at a lower heat output. The heater is suitable for fixed installation, it is splash-water proofed and extremely space-saving.
