We hope you find what you re looking for in our booklet, the tools we hire out are up to date, safe, clean and competitively priced. 4 Terms & Conditions 1. All equipment is hired or sold subject to the general conditions of the Hire Association Europe. These conditions are printed on the reverse side of our Delivery notes & Hire contracts. 2. Hire Periods. 1 day = 24 hours from hire start date & time 2 day = 48 hours from hire start date & time Week = 7 days After the first week extra days are charged at 1/5th the week rate. Payment Options & Insurance Monthly Account An application can be made for a credit account. Please ask our staff for a form. Credit terms are 30 days from the Invoice date. Cash Account. Cash customers are required to leave a deposit payment before commencement of the hire. This amount is variable and subject to the value of the equipment. Please ask our staff for details of deposit amounts. Payment of deposit is possible by cash or card Identification. Two forms of Identification will be required from new customers. This may be a driving licence showing picture of hirer and a current household bill as proof of address. For some hire Items the deposit must be a card payment only. Parker Hire will request further payments from a customer s card during a hire period should the value of the hire exceed the initial deposit amount. Prices All prices shown exclude VAT. VAT will be charged at the relevant rate. HireGuard Insurance. Loss or damage of all hired equipment is the responsibility of the customer. 7 Alloy Scaffold Tower 3T Method Our Boss lightweight alloy towers give a stable and secure working platform for up to two people and are used for both indoor and outdoor access solutions. They can be supplied in single (850mm) or double (1450mm) widths. Boss alloy towers require two competent (and in some cases qualified) persons to assemble them. The user guide provided gives step by step instructions to ensure your tower system is erected easily and safely, using the 3T (through the trapdoor) method. A PASMA qualification may be required for commercial use, formal qualifications are not required for domestic DIY jobs/users. 8 1.Access - Alloy Scaffold Towers Advanced Guardrail Tower System Our Boss Advanced Guardrail Tower scaffolds are the latest breakthrough in improving safe tower assembly and use fewer components than standard 3T tower system. AGR frames increase safety because the guardrail frame must be in place before the user climbs to the next platform. 9 0179 Bridging System This system uses aluminium beams that link two Boss scaffold towers creating a large open work platform. If used with 1.8m double width towers this can provide a work platform of 4.7m x 1.8m c/w handrail on all sides. The basic stairway pack provides platform levels of 1.5m and 2.7m, 0.7m wide, and features special narrow base plates, and non-slip platform boards.
