1 PVC glue & SABA cleaner SABA SABA PVC glues are a brand name in agriculture and horticulture for applications in a very wide range of PVC installations. The portfolio comprises both glues and cleansers that are used in the joining of practically all plastic pipework systems. The glue can be easily spread and is therefore simple to apply. SABA has also introduced a range of THF-free PVC glues. Characteristic of these products are their ease of use, the universal applicability and the strong, durable joints. Cut off the pipe at right angles, then chamfer and deburr the ends 2. Mark the insertion depth of the pipe. 3. Clean the pipe and socket thoroughly using SABA PVC & ABS cleaner. Remove any condensation using clean paper or a non-linting cloth. 4. Apply the glue uniformly to both pipe and socket. Apply glue to the pipe stub end thickly and in longitudinal direction. Apply glue to the socket sparingly around the inner circumference to avoid excess glue being pressed into the pipe. 5. Immediately after applying the glue, make the joint without twisting or tilting and hold firmly for a few seconds. Remove excess glue immediately. 6. The glued pipes must not be moved for the first 5 minutes. At temperatures below 10 C, wait 15 minutes before moving. 7. Avoid heavy mechanical loads during the first hours. 8. Pressure tests may only be carried out after 24 hours. Safety Instructions The SABA Series comprises solvent-based products. Therefore ensure adequate ventilation and avoid naked flames and sparks during work. Pipelines that are not immediately put into operation should be blown out or filled with water. See the corresponding safety data sheet for the SABA PVC product. 15.2

3 PVC glue & Griffon cleaner Griffon Griffon offers and extensive range of glues for the gluing of pipes, sockets and fittings with tighter and looser fits (gap-filling) in pressure and drainage systems. The new generation of glues (XT) is produced without harmful THF solvents. Suitable glue types are also available for flexible hoses or applications with aggressive chemicals. The glues have CE certification on the basis of EN (drainage) and EN (pressure). 5 Griffon lubricant Griffon Griffon offers a paste-like lubricants for the assembly of pipes, sockets and fittings with rubber ring sealed connections in drainage systems. 20 CO2 dosing hose The CO2 dosing hose is a transparent polyethylene hose for the dosing of CO 2 from flue gases into the greenhouse. The CO 2 is injected into the greenhouse through the four holes of 0.8 mm. The holes are made continuously 2x along the edge, at standard perforation intervals. Different injection rates can be achieved by varying the perforation intervals so that the needs of the installation can be satisfied. The width of the CO2 hose is determined according to the roof length and the desired capacity. The KMG hose is also available. This hose has an installation strip with holes so that the hose can be installed in combination with hooks. By attaching the hose to the growing tube, for example, the hose can "grow" with the crop so that the CO2 is injected close to the growing part of the crop, maximising the injection effect. The dosing perforations do not or barely clog thanks to the possibility of installing on a slope and suspending above the ground. It also reduces the formation of "water traps" in the hose.
