Solar powered with a 4.5KwH Solar PV system, along with graywater use and rain tanks, this house has raised ceilings to improve air flow and natural ventilation, and native garden with large trees including fruit trees are used for shading of the house and to assist with cooling. The house has incorporated salvaged timber from the renovation and recycled to create slat work around the house and timber benches.
