This EC-Type Examination Certificate is based on the following document: - Test Report with the reference no. PX18504 of the "SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden", Boras (SE), dated This EC-Type Examination Certificate provides that the assembly of the horizontal A-60 division coincides in all items with the construction as described in item 2 and 3 and the enclosures to the Report no. PX All measurements of the horizontal A-60 division must be in accordance with the drawing numbers AK2246 (Rev.0), no. AK2246 (Rev.0) "Layer 1", no. AK2246 (Rev.0) "Layer 2" and no. AK2246 (Rev.0) "Layer 3" (enclosures to Report no. PX18504). They can only be changed in compliance with the Prüf- und Zertifizierungsstelle of Ship Safety Division. 4. To insulate the division following insulation material has to be used: - ISOVER-marine slab ULTIMATE U MPN 90 (thickness 3 x 25 mm), EC-Type Examination Certificate no , issued by See-Berufsgenossenschaft. 5. As interlayer (vapour barrier) has to be used: - ISOVER aluminium fibreglass composite, EC-Type Examination Certificate no , issued by Dienststelle Schiffssicherheit. 6. Non combustible insulation material as per Report no. PX18504 may be replaced by a different one, provided that its composition and physical properties (e.g. heat conductivity, density and thickness of the material) correspond with the tested material and an approval as per directive 96/98, as amended has been obtained. This has to be proved to Ship Safety Division beforehand in written form. 7. Surface materials which will be used must be not readily ignitable and approved by an European notified body. 8. The equipment shall be marked in accordance with article 11 of the Council Directive 96/98 EC of 20 December 1996 on Marine Equipment as amended. 9. This EC-Type Examination Certificate may only be published or transmitted unabridged. Note: This product has been assigned a U.S. Coast Guard approval no. (USCG number) to note type approval to Module B only as it pertains to obtaining U.S. Coast Guard approval as allowed by the "Agreement between the European Community and the United States of America on Mutual Recognition of Certificates of Confounity for Marine Equipment" signed February 27th, The U.S. Coast Guard approval number is: /EC0736/ The equipment manufacturer has to be mark the equipment with this U.S. Coast Guard approval number.
