These incidents included fires and explosions in residential, commercial, and industrial structures, some involving multiple fatalities, vehicle, wildland, and vegetation fires. Mr. Canon has enforced laws, codes, regulations and standards relating to fire prevention and suppression. He has developed and directed fire inspection, prevention and public education programs. His experience has also included pre-incident preparation, incident size-up, safety, incident and post incident management of personnel and equipment at fires, rescues, accidents, hazardous materials releases, and natural or manmade disasters. Mr. Canon has been involved in at least 150 training and/or test burns involving structures, vehicles, and wildland areas. 15
