Each day will consist of rolling 20 minute CPD seminars conducted by each company to help specifiers keep up their CPD requirement and find out more about different materials. The evening then changes in to a celebration of regional design and architecture. 6 Casamia winner of Gordon Ramsey s Best Restaurant chooses Silestone Silestone has been chosen for the exciting new Casamia cookery school. The school is the latest project from Jonray Sanchez-Iglesias and Peter Sanchez-Iglesias of the Michelin star Casamia restaurant - winner of the Gordon Ramsey Best Local Restaurant, Over 16sqm of the new Silestone colour Cemento Spa has been fabricated and installed by Cosentino Approved Fabricator Shaw Stone Ltd and also features a striking Silestone Integrity sink in Blanco Zeus. A WEEK OF AULAS IN THE UK Cosentino UK once again invited its valued clients to join them at their regional Cosentino Centre for a day of informative presentations, interesting product news, and tasty food! Wendy Anderson welcomed 19 of her fabricators to the Gloucester Centre and was delighted to report the day as a huge success. 7 MARKETING NEWS SILESTONE ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE ADVERT AWARDED THE GOLDEN LION AWARD AT THE CANNES LIONS INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CREATIVITY. We are proud to announce that Cosentino has been awarded the prestigious Golden Lion at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity for our advertisement Silestone, Above everything else in the Film Craft category in the Animation section. The 56 second advertisement Silestone, Above everything else shows a different and innovative vision of the world of the kitchen and above all, of our Silestone worktops, through an incredible use of animation and surrealism. UK JOURNALISTS WHISKED AWAY TO SPAIN TO WITNESS THE NEW BATH RANGE FIRST HAND Journalists and Editors from across Europe, including several leading UK Retail Trade Titles, were treated to an all expense trip to the Cosentino HQ in Almeria this June. All guests enjoyed typical Spanish Cosentino hospitality, plus were treated to a special seminar presenting the Bath Range, an exclusive tour around the fabrication facility plus a viewing of stunning Bath Showroom pieces. FERNANDO ALONSO PRESENTS THE NEW COSENTINO SHOWROOM IN BELGIUM Cosentino has held an exclusive event with Fernando Alonso in Brussels (Belgium). Over 150 guests, including Cosentino customers, specialist press, architects, decorators and design professionals attended the event. Alonso was the perfect host for the official opening of the Cosentino Center showroom in Belgium, which is located in the town of Merchtem, 15 km from Brussels. The Center is the Cosentino Group s new concept of an integrated service center that allows the exhibition and distribution of worktops, along with a showroom and administrative offices all under the same roof. They also benefit from a training room for professionals; including architects, interior decorators, interior designers, stonemasons and kitchen and bathroom specialists. The event also gave attendees the chance to learn about the company s latest innovations, including the Nebula series by Silestone and the Silestone bathroom collection. Eduardo Martínez-Cosentino, Commercial Director of the Cosentino Group was present at the event. The collaboration between Silestone, the world leader in quartz surfaces and Fernando Alonso began back in For the current 2011 season, Silestone continues at the side of Alonso, supporting him as his personal sponsor.
