(E) All other interior features described and identified in the Historic Structure Report as character-defining features contributing to the significance of the building including: the double loaded, north-south running main corridors on the first and second floors; east- facing offices off the main corridor; main vestibule and entrance doors on the first floor; 5 original work room spaces and configurations on the First Floor in the east, west, north and south areas, and on the Second Floor in the west area; original floor surfaces of marble, stone, granite and concrete; stone window sills: original piaster wall finishes; masonry walls; original granite and steei vaults; staircases and all staircase elements such as granite treads and cast iron balusters, newel posts and strings; other cast iron elements including window 0 and door casings, columns, lintels, thresholds, baseboards, stanchions, interior window shutters, paneled doors and spiral staircases; mahogany handrails; original chandeliers and light fixtures; marble fireplaces and hearths; exposed brick wails and surfaces; brick piers wrouqht iron beams; brick vaulted ceilings, piers and wails; barrel vaulted ceilings; ceilings corrugated galvanized iron arches; intact window casings; intact interior doors and transoms 5 including rnahogany doors; original door hardware, hinges, door knobs, escutcheon plates, keyholes; original bronze window hardware, sash locks, pulls, pulleys and chains; original 7 exposed gas piping, circular masonry flue openings; decorative grille in ceilings; wail surface granite foundation blocks below the steps and portico on the ground floor interior (east area); and the following features on the interior ground work area: recessed wall surfaces marking the tocanon the main belt and guide pulley, embedded wheels related belt and pulley machinery, and the workmen's graffiti in Room dated 7; and Character defining features of the site, mcludinq lawns and gardens, cast iron railings above low granite curb at the front and south elevations, cast iron fountains in front garden, and multi-globe cast iron lamp standards. 5 n.ilancusevsharedvsowsowiuo.drnmt. cc c
