SPANISH RIVER/ FAU INTERCHANGE SCOPE OF WORK OWNER: DISTRICT IV PALM BEACH OPERATIONS Work includes construction a new interchange at Spanish River Boulevard and I-95, reconstruction of Spanish River Boulevard bridge over Boca Airport Road/ I-95/CSX, widening of Yamato Road, widening of FAU Boulevard, construction of 8 new bridges, widening of 5 existing bridges between Spanish River Boulevard and Yamato Road, signalized intersection improvements, new lighting, the addition of an auxiliary lane and a full depth 11 shoulder along NB & SB I-95 between Glades Rd and Congress Ave, sound wall construction along Yamato Road and along I-95, MSE wall construction, new signing & pavement markings and the construction of 2new multi-use trail underpasses beneath the CSX RR and beneath Yamato Road. SUNRISE INTERCHANGE SCOPE OF WORK OWNER: TURNPIKE ENTERPRISE Improving traffic flow through modifications to the interchange at Florida s Turnpike and Sunrise Boulevard. Adding a new entry ramp to the southbound Turnpike from eastbound Sunrise Boulevard and a new exit ramp from northbound Turnpike to eastbound Sunrise Boulevard. Removing the existing toll plaza at the northbound Turnpike entrance and converting all ramps to allelectronic tolling. On Sunrise Boulevard replacing and raising the existing bridge over the Turnpike. Widening the lanes, bike lanes and enclosed pedestrian walkway. Installing new noise reduction barriers. HEFT* SCOPE OF WORK OWNER: TURNPIKE ENTERPRISE The Turnpike will be widened to twelve and eight lanes, including Express Lanes. Noise reduction barriers will be built along qualifying residential areas along both sides of the Turnpike. The Turnpike/State Road 874 interchange will be realigned. Work also includes asphalt milling and resurfacing, bridge widening, landscaping, drainage, lighting, signage and traffic signal improvements on SW 168th Street, SW 152nd Street, SW 117th Avenue and SW 120th Street. KANNER HIGHWAY SCOPE OF WORK OWNER: DISTRICT IV TREASURE COAST OPERATIONS Work on this project includes widening Kanner Highway from a four-lane divided highway to a six-lane divided highway. Widening the bridge over the South Fork St. Lucie River, drainage improvements, including construction of five retention ponds; guardrail improvements, signalization upgrades and turn lane and bicycle lane improvements. BIG JOHN MONAHAN* SCOPE OF WORK OWNER: DISTRICT IV TREASURE COAST OPERATIONS The purpose of this project was to increase capacity and improve safety by upgrading this section of SR 710, including the replacement of the Big John Monahan Bridge over St. Lucie Canal. SR 710. The Bridge has a 55 feet vertical clearance and 100 feet of horizontal clearance between the fender systems at the St Lucie Canal. The scope of the project also included new drainage system installation, bridge fender systems, landscaping and irrigation. US- 1 WIDENING SCOPE OF WORK OWNER: DISTRICT IV TREASURE COAST OPERATIONS Milling and resurfacing the roadway; widening the roadway in Indian River County from a four-lane roadway to a six-lane roadway from the county line to south of Oslo Road; new bridge construction; construction of new sidewalk on the west side of US 1 from the Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park to just south of Oslo Road and on the east side of US 1 from the south approach of the bridge to just south of Oslo Road; construction of sound walls on the west side of US 1 in front of the Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park; upgraded traffic signals at US 1 and Highland Drive; construction of three ponds; drainage; and landscaping. KINGS HIGHWAY* SCOPE OF WORK OWNER: ST. LUCIE COUNTY / FDOT TREASURE COAST Improvements to the Kings Highway at the intersection of Indrio Road. Kings Highway will be expanded to a four-lane divided highway with designated buffered bicycle lanes and pedestrian facilities. Indrio Road will be improved immediately West and East of the intersection with dual thru lanes to accept the traffic turning movements off of Kings Highway. The intersections of Indrio Road at the Lakewood Park Elementary school will have designated left and tight turning movements. For pedestrians, the project includes the construction of a 12-foot wide shared use path along the west of Kings Highway from the intersection south and along Indrio Road from the intersection west past the Lakewood Park Elementary School to Seminole road. RAVENSWOOD BRIDGE SCOPE OF WORK OWNER: DISTRICT IV BROWARD OPERATIONS The improvements under this project consist of replacing the existing bridge over the Dania Cut-Off Canal, including replacement of the existing fender system. The work will consist of existing bridge demolition and new bridge construction. Additional improvements include the reconstruction of Ravenswood Road, installation of new roadway drainage, canal dredging and armoring, and placement of new signing and pavement markings. PGA BOULEVARD RAMP BRIDGE SCOPE OF WORK OWNER: TURNPIKE ENTERPRISE This interchange improvement project involved the replacement of the existing northbound ramp bridge over the Florida s Turnpike mainline at PGA Blvd at MP 109. The new bridge increased the vertical clearance, spanned both the future eight-lane section of Florida s Turnpike and the existing Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) lines located east of the northbound lanes. In addition to the bridge construction, extensive coordination occurred with FGT to clear impacts of all project improvements. Additional improvements included increasing the northbound exit ramp capacity from a single lane to two lanes beyond the ramp terminal. The scope of the project also incorporated interchange drainage, signing and pavement marking, ITS, and lighting improvements. SR- 80 RESURFACING SCOPE OF WORK OWNER: DISTRICT IV PALM BEACH OPERATIONS The Improvements under this Contract consist of milling and resurfacing, signing and pavement markings and traffic monitoring sites along State Road-80 (US- 98/US-441). Milling and resurfacing of mainline including correction of three longitudinal depressed segments and correction of cross slopes of inside lane and inside shoulder using overbuild asphalt layer. Thermoplastic pavement markings, replacement of single and multi-post signs, object markers and non-flexible delineators.
