St. Elizabeth's East Campus 2MG Elevated Water Tower, Washington DC
DC Water - Water Tower DC Water plans to construct an elevated two million gallon water storage tower on the East Campus to provide the required pressure, water storage and fire protection for the Anacostia Second High Service Area. The tower was initially designed with a screen, but the concept was rejected by CFA in 2014. As such, DC Water is working to construct the tower only, with mitigation efforts to-be-agreed-upon later. Regulatory Actions (2014) CFA Approved Water Tower only project. HPRB Approved Water Tower only project. Directed DC Water to enter into an MOA with OP and DMPED for future mitigation.
