Triggered by smoke, the first sign of a fire; and a corresponding rise in temperature, this powerful, automated firefighting system is fully equipped to douse the flames, before they spiral out of control. HOW THE CEASEFIRE KITCHEN SUPPRESSION SYSTEM WORKS: The first sensors that trigger the system are heat sensitive sensors. In the event of an abnormal rise in temperature, these sensors break, allowing the cylinder valve to open and the extinguishing agent and pressurised nitrogen to pass through. Propelled by the pressurised nitrogen, the extinguishing agent in the cylinder is pushed through a specially designed dip tube and dispensed over the fire. Blanketing the flames, blocking the oxygen supply and bringing down the temperature to below combustible levels. The Kitchen Suppression System provides the most efficient protection for all cooking applications and facilities with the benefit of cost-effectiveness. Kitchen Firefighting Range ENVIRO SERIES THE WATERMIST KITCHEN SUPPRESSION SYSTEM: ENVIRO SERIES This system has been specially designed for commercial kitchens. The USP of the system is that it causes no collateral damage, ensuring the kitchen is up and running at the earliest. Here s how it works: Propelled by the pressurised nitrogen in the cylinders, pure water is pushed through the specialized rotor. Here some of the propellant (nitrogen) is also released into the water pipe via the air tube to create a bubbled mixtured of water and nitrogen which arrives at the nozzle. This creates a pulsed output of nitrogen and water from the nozzle to form very fine mist of less than 54 microns at the output of nozzles. The Watermist discharged from strategically located nozzles, installed in the hood, plenum and in all exhaust ducts coveres all possible fire risk area. Simultaneously, the valve connected to the gas fuel line and electrical supply line can be shut down, preventing further heating of cooking oil. With the source of energy blocked and watermist converting to steam heat is rapidly removed from the fire zone. Steam forms a blanket over the cooking oil and smothers the flames. The fire is quickly brought under control. What s more, the mist s cooling effect also minimises any chances of re-ignition. The system s most prominent feature - a specially designed heat-sensitive pneumatic polymid tube is installed to run unobtrusively throughout the area at risk. When a fire breaks out, the heat-sensitive tube detects the rise in temperature and punctures at that point.
