For installations requiring large panels and extra wide backrests, these codes include the components for AS1428. This will remove the issue of some installations using the current Standard Stainless Steel Panel (237030) in certain applications that does not meet AS1428 standards. The individual components have also been included should they be required to be ordered seperately. dux hotwater June 2013 Product Updates 3 STAR OUTDOOR GAS WATER HEATERS Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) have determined that all outdoor gas water heaters manufactured or imported into Australia now have a Minimum Energy Performance Standard (MEPS) of 4 star. As a result Dux and Radiant branded 3 star gas water heaters ceased to be manufactured on the 2 May 2013. Any existing stock can continue to be sold and installed as normal. The replacement options include our 4 star or 5 star ranges. An advantage with the Dux range of storage gas water heaters is both the 4 and 5 star products have the same footprint as the 3 star, so all models are a direct replacement.
