Who We Are: Poughkeepsie Dutchess County Transportation Council Designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Dutchess County Established in 1982 Required by the federal government for Urbanized Areas of 50,000+ population Forum for establishing transportation policies, planning, and decision making Part of the larger Mid Hudson Valley Transportation Management Area (TMA) 4
