2 FIXED COMMUNICATIONS

NUMBER OF REFERENCE 2.1.1 AFFECTED SYSTEM SYSTEM THAT INTERFERES ON THE AFFECTED SYSTEM HEADING OF THE INTERFACE Fixed communications Electrification Electromagnetic interference Description Action Evidence Version Status Comments Overhead contact line (OCL) will have 25000 Vac; therefore, it will create electromagnetic interference with equipments near it. Installation of an overhead contact line must be reported to Fixed communications team. Every cable that goes parallel to the line for long distances (>200 m) must be shielded against interferences at 50 Hz produced by the Overhead contact line. The protection must have a reduction factor of 0.3 for signalling cables and 0.1 for communication cables. Grounding of every connection must be done, including armour and shielding. The ground must be the same in the connection boxes that in the poles of the OCL. Annexe 12 Fixed Communication Cable specifications Detailed Design Report and Annexe Electrification. v2 (November 2012) Close An overhead contact line is going to be installed in the line by Yanai LTD. Further detailed design of OCL is pending (situation of poles, etc.). ISR cable specifications have been reviewed to be protected against interferences. Designer Rewiever Rafael Gutiérrez

NUMBER OF REFERENCE 2.7.1 AFFECTED SYSTEM SYSTEM THAT INTERFERES ON THE AFFECTED SYSTEM HEADING OF THE INTERFACE Fixed communications Detectors Data connection Description Action Evidence Version Status Comments A data connection must be provided in each location where a concentrator of detectors is installed. This enables the concentrator of detectors to exchange information with Control Centre. Detectors are also able to be sent information to the interlocking, if required by ISR. Detectors team must report on the location of those concentrators. Detectors provider must inform where the detector s concentrators are going to be installed. The interface with detectors will be Ethernet (RJ45) in the cabinet. The cabinet will be supplied by fixed communications, and the cable between it and the detectors equipment will be supplied by the detectors system. Fixed communications need to have the location of all detectors. Detailed Design. Annexe Auxiliary Detection Systems February 2013 Close Design considering the information provided in Detailed Design. The contractor responsible for the installation of Detector systems has to confirm these locations. Designer Rewiever Rafael Gutiérrez

NUMBER OF REFERENCE 2.8.1 AFFECTED SYSTEM SYSTEM THAT INTERFERES ON THE AFFECTED SYSTEM HEADING OF THE INTERFACE Fixed communications Scada Scada communications Description Action Evidence Version Status Comments The SCADA will require communications between electrification systems and control centre. Electrification team must inform Fixed Communications team about the implementation of a SCADA for electrification purposes and its communication needs. The Fixed Communication project provides the canals required by electrification. Electrification project Close Out of the scope of the project, this action is carried out by the electrification team. NUMBER OF REFERENCE 9.1.1 AFFECTED SYSTEM SYSTEM THAT INTERFERES ON THE AFFECTED SYSTEM HEADING OF THE INTERFACE Detectors Fixed communications Connection with interlocking Description Action Evidence Version Status Comments The different detectors have to notify their status to the concentrator of detectors, which exchanges security information with the network traffic control (NTC). There is not connection with interlocking. The elements connected are: o Detectors. o Hub of detectors. The data coming from detectors will be evaluated in control rooms, where concentrators are located. The information sent from concentrators to network traffic control (NTC) will be sent by fixed communications infrastructure. The working group of fixed communication installs patch panels in control rooms to connect those elements. These patch panels are the interfaces between the access switch / router for detectors and the fixed communications network. The working group of detection systems connects to these patch panels the information coming from detectors. The working group of detectors defines the data transfer requirements to the working group of fixed communications. Annexe 12 - Fixed communications Annexe 15 - Auxiliary Detection Systems February 2013 Close Designer Rewiever Rafael Gutiérrez

NUMBER OF REFERENCE 9.3.1 AFFECTED SYSTEM SYSTEM THAT INTERFERES ON THE AFFECTED SYSTEM HEADING OF THE INTERFACE Detectors Infrastructure Location of OFD Description Action Evidence Version Status Comments The vehicle fall detectors are installed above the tunnel portals, when there is a risk that an object falls to the track. The working group of infrastructure has to deliver the location of tunnels. The working group of detectors defines the requirements for the installation of the optical fibre on the fence and on the structure. Annexe 15 - Auxiliary Detection Systems February 2013 Close The location of OFD has been specified in the annexe of auxiliary detection systems. Designer Rewiever Rafael Gutiérrez

NUMBER OF REFERENCE 9.4.1 AFFECTED SYSTEM SYSTEM THAT INTERFERES ON THE AFFECTED SYSTEM HEADING OF THE INTERFACE Detectors Rolling stock Clearance of train Description Action Evidence Version Status Comments Detector installed on the track can affect to the clearance of the train. There is a need to define what information is required by the working group of rolling stock (characteristics, functionality and interface requirements). Annexe 15 - Auxiliary Detection Systems February 2013 Close The type of system does not affect clearance of the train. Contractors ensure that installation is performed according to the any type of rolling stock. Designer Rewiever Rafael Gutiérrez
