The sensor sensitivity adjustment is necessary to adapt the internal sensor signal amplification to the present system conditions. The process begins with the detection of the optimum amplification, after that the measured sensor signal is equated to the set "endvalue in %". This value is set to 110% as factory default for a brand new lamp with the knowledge that lamp UV output specifiaction is > 100% for approx. the first 100 burning hours. So the monitor will display UV intensities up to 110% for the first operation hours. Note: The sensor adjustment should not be started until the system is in its normal operation state and the lamp has reached its operation point. 8/13
