Available for both horizontal and vertical mounting. Adaption of colour and material is possible for blending into the environment. Comfort The L Series is available with a number of different fan decks, which together with both water and electrical heating alternatives makes creating a comfortable climate in any entrance easy. The outlet wing is adjustable and developed to direct part of the air stream to the sides of the door, thus decreasing the cold air leakage. Operation and economy The air inlet grille acts as a filter making the air curtain easy to clean without opening the unit. With nut rails on the top of the unit the mounting is made flexible and it also enables fixing multiple units next to each other, visibly as one unit. Product specifications Available for horizontal and vertical mounting. BMS-control option included. Other controls like IR-Remote and manual-automatic are available as accessory. Flexible connection possibilities. Flexible suspension points through hanging rail and chanelled profile system. It can be freely adapted to the surroundings by a choice of materials, intermediate lenghts and even multiple colours per unit. Positioning, mounting and installation Positioning Comfortline L-series is available for horizontal as well as vertical mounting. Horizontally, the air curtain is positioned hanging visibly above the door. Vertically, it is standing next to the door on either the left or the right side. In both cases the outlet of the air curtain should be positioned as close to the door as possible. Mounting Horizontal mounting is carried out using threaded rods for ceiling support (M8 for S/M/G and M0 for B/BB). Wall brackets for horizontal mounting are available in a variety of designs as an accessory. Please contact Gelu- Frico for more information. A vertical unit is mounted standing on the accompanying floor bracket that is bolted to the floor and must be secured to a wall or to the ceiling to prevent it from falling over. Connection Comfortline L-series with water heating The 230V~ supply is connected to the terminals inside the unit. The cable is taken into the unit via the premounted cable glands. The supply should be carried out with a service switch and with fuse according to technical data. The control panel is delivered with 0 m RJ45 cable. For more connection possibilities please see wiring diagrams. Heating coil is equipped with inner thread connections. Connection Comfortline L-series with electrical heating The air curtain needs wiring for 230V~ supply and control and 400V3~ supply. Each supply should be carried out with a service switch and with fuse according to technical data. For more connection possibilities please see wiring diagrams. Complete control kits Water 2 Standard control With the standard control panel D705IR the fan speed is selected in five steps. With the summer/winter switch the heating is turned on/off. The control panel is configured for dual functionality which is switched with an external contact, i.e. a door contact or a room thermostat, that may be connected to the control panel. With a DIP-switch inside the control panel it is decided whether the external contact switches the air curtain on/off (Position ON) or if it switches between high and low speed (Position OFF). High speed is choosen freely among the five fan speeds available. The high speed is set on the controller when the contact is open. To save the motors of the air curtain an over-run time between 5 and 75 seconds can be set on the controller. Electric 3 Standard control The standard control panel D700e controls the fan speed and the heating in three steps respectively. The heating steps are coordinated with the selected fan speed to prevent risk of overheating. A room thermostat can be connected to the controller to automatically switch heating and fans on and off. The controller also has an over-run function which may start the fan after switch-off to remove excess heat. When the unit has cooled down the fans are shut off. The memory function (DIP-switch inside= ON) remembers which fan speed and heating step are used so that they are turned back on after a power failure. Up to 4 units can be controlled simultaneously. Up to 2 units can be controlled simultaneously. BMS control The water heated air curtain is prepared for BMScontrol via the 0-0V terminals on the internal PC-board.
