YEFB DUCTED UNIT GENERAL FEATURES Structure It is made of 1,0 mm thick galvanised steel. Despite this thickness, a special tool for production allowed to keep a good stiffness, in order to reduce the risk for vibrations (which causes irritating noise) and for any damage during the transport. All cold internal panels are duly insulated with 12 mm thick closed-cell polyethylene. In order to simplify the maintenance operations, the structure has been designed in three different and independent sections: drain pan, fan deck and filter. Both air intake and the air delivery ends are provided with 20 mm wide flanges for an easy duct connection. 4 brackets are supplied together with the unit, in order to fix it on the ceiling (see dimensional drawing #4). Coil For every model, 3- and 4-row coils are available; in 4-pipe systems, additional 2- or 3-row coils are also available. Therefore each unit can be supplied with a maximum of 7 rows (4 rows in cooling + 3 rows in heating). 5- row coils are available for 060 and 070 models, no additional heating coils are foreseen with this coil. All coils consist of 9,5 mm outer diameter copper tubes and aluminium fins mechanically bonded to the tubes; they are also provided with copper headers and copper sweat connections, adequately sized for design water flow. Each coil is factory tested at 2,8 Mpa maximum pressure; all coils are tested, max. operating pressure 1,6 MPa. Models 004,006, 010, 020, 030, 040 and 050 have coils provided with needle valve air vents, which can be easily reached from the external side of the unit. For models 060 and 070 the air vent is provided with the valve kit (optional; see dimensional drawing #2). Water connections Each unit can be supplied with either right hand connections (standard) or with left hand connections. When requested, the water connections can be reversed on site. Fan deck It consists of a 3-speed motor and two centrifugal impellers, which are made of galvanised steel. The fan deck is made of 1,5 mm thick galvanised steel. All motors are provided with permanent split capacitor and auto reset thermal overload protection, and they are suitable for 230 V ± 10%, single phase, 50 Hz power supply. The fan deck can be easily pulled out of the unit for maintenance operation. Drain pan It is made of 0,8 mm thick galvanised steel and it is internally insulated with 12 mm thick, closed-cell polyethylene. The 20 mm diameter drain connections are located on both sides of the unit (see dimensional drawing #3). Air Filter The standard air filter is a washable polyester acrylic fibre, with G3 filtration class; each unit can also be supplied with a special filter, with F5 filtration class (on request). The filter is pleated and protected by a wire mesh, in order to have an extended surface in only 45 mm thickness. Electric Panel All units are provided with a screw type terminal strip, mounted inside a safety box (IP44), made of ABS. Models040, 050, 060 and 070 are also provided with a relay for the connection to the power supply of the motor. Packing Each unit is placed on a wooden pallet and protected by a carton box. ACCESSORIES 3-way and 4-port regulating valves, with either ON/OFF or modulating actuators, for 2- and 4-pipe systems. They are also provided with a copper tubes kit for the connection to the system. They are supplied loose. Electric heater Additional module with electric heater, with heating capacities between 3,0 kw and 9,0 kw, in accordance with the air flow of each model. It is provided with all necessary safety thermostats and it is supplied loose. Condensate pump Kit with 6 m maximum head pump. It is supplied loose. Air delivery plenum Page 1 of 6
The plenum is provided with several frontal outlets, in accordance with the size of the unit. Each outlet has a 200 mm diameter spigot. On site, it is possible to remove either one or two outlets from the frontal panel and mount them on the sides of the unit. The plenum is supplied loose. Special filter Filter made of polyester acrylic fibre, with G4 / F5 filtration class. RAL paint The whole structure can be painted in RAL9001, with oven dried epoxy powders. On request, all RAL colours are available, with some possible delays in delivery time Regulating systems The whole range of EURAPO regulators is available: fan speed selectors, electro-mechanical controllers, electronic controllers with microprocessor, digital regulators, with a centralized supervision system communicating via Bus based on standard protocols. Remote controls CSR00 Basic fan speed selector for wall installation, provided with ON/OFF switch. CMR00 Electronic room temperature thermostat for wall installation, with S/W switch, manual fan speed selector, for 2 and 4 pipe systems. The air sensor is built-in the control. CER00 Microprocessor control with room temperature thermostat, manual fan speed selector, dead band (4 pipe system) or automatic S/W switch with water sensor (2 pipe system). The air sensor is built-in the control. CER10 Microprocessor control for modulating valves with room temperature thermostat, manual fan speed selector, dead band (4 pipe system) or automatic S/W switch with water sensor (2 pipe system). The air sensor is built-in the control. CER20 Microprocessor control with room temperature thermostat, manual and automatic fan speed selector, dead band (4 pipe system) or automatic S/W switch with water sensor (2 pipe system). CER30 Microprocessor control for modulating valves with room temperature thermostat, manual and automatic fan speed selector, dead band (4 pipe system) or automatic S/W switch with water sensor (2 pipe system). OMNIBUS OMNIBUS Digital System has been designed by Eurapo in order to have a complete management and control of the terminal units (fan coils, water cassettes, ducted units and radiant systems)for the conditioning of domestic, residential and public sites. This system has been realized in order to be programmed and used in different installations, in a very simple and reliable way. Omnibus can work in stand-alone or in centralized configurations, by MODBUS RTU network. The components: Power OMNIBUS card: Installed directly in the terminal unit, it is a very flexible hardware; its firmware can be updated through a serial port. It can be easily programmed and configured from the user, according to his requirements, and from the installer, according to the installation type. Power OMNIBUS can receive and process several inputs and can manage several output technologies. A Power OMNIBUS card for the management of brushless motors is also available: it is possible to modulate the fan speed automatically (0-10V) or manually, allowing the user to set the most suitable voltage for each speed (minmed-max). Console Analogica Plus: it is the basic interface of the system. It can be installed on the wall, in the fan coil unit or on a 503 standard module compatible with the most common plates. With this console the user has the possibility to set the air temperature, the fan speed, the S/W mode and the ON/OFF of the regulator. Console Digitale Display: Digital Display Console: it has the same installation features of the Analogue Plus Console; moreover, thanks to its display, the user can visualize and modify all the Power OMNIBUS parameters. Easy to read, this console grants the user four management modalities: State: off, economy, comfort Set-point: setting of the air temperature Working modes: cooling, heating, ventilation, dehumidification Ventilation: minimum, medium, maximum, automatic According to the access profile (user or service), with the Display Console it is possible to visualize the card Input/Ouput states; in this way, the user has an important analysis instrument, without the need to access directly to the terminal units built-in the false ceilings. All the Omnibus Consoles can also be used with infrared remote controls, with the exception of Analogue Plus Console. Manager Console: it has the same functions and features of the Display Console; besides, it is a supervisor for small systems, that allows the centralization of the functioning states up to 10 Power OMNIBUS cards connected to the same network. The user can also have a daily and weekly programming of the functioning states (off/economy/comfort). OTOUCH: it is a 7 touch screen supervisor for medium systems, that allows the centralization of the functioning up to 100 Power OMNIBUS cards connected to the same network. Each single card can be run independently by different users. Otouch allows the management of complex sets and the seasonal programming of the installation. It functionally handles all the components of cooling and heating installations, so that the different elements can dialogue and interact: Energy production (boiler/chiller) Circulation pumps Mixing valves (for radiant systems) Zone valves Dehumidifiers Fan coils Otouch can communicate via bus, via SMS with GSM line, via Internet. It is prearranged for Wi Fi connection. Web Server: this is the highest management level, that allows to connect and control up to 1024 Power OMNIBUS cards through an Intranet or Internet network (8 nets x 128 units). Page 3 of 6
