TEVHR Recent studies point out that people in developed countries spend 70% of their lives indoors. For this very reason enhancing indoor air quality is essential for human health. On the other hand, increasing demands on energy efficiency and the fact that world s energy resources are limited necessitate the energy consumption to be more efficient. TEKNOGEN heat recovery units are designed to run trouble-free for years and to satisfy both energy economy and indoor air quality needs. Devices are of 8 different models with capacities ranging between 800 m3/h and 6500 m3/h and they operate by extracting energy from the exhausted dirty air from indoors and passing it to the fresh air from the outside. Components with the latest technology are used in devices and electrical and thermal energy efficiencies are prioritized. Eurovent-certified heat recovery recuperators and highly efficient plug fans consuming less energy and operating in low noise levels are used in the units. Fans are backward bladed with a design of superior aerodynamic efficiency. Remote control with speed adjustment key provided with the units allows the flow rate to be set in infinite levels and to turn the devices on/off. Functions TEVHR units; Supply fresh air for indoors. Unit Specifications High thermal efficiency with Eurovent-certified heat recovery recuperators All recuperators used in TEVHR units are Eurovent-certified and their performances are inspected and approved by independent test organizations. Recuperators superior plate geometry allows less pressure drop compared to others thereby saving more energy and they reduce heating/cooling needs thanks to their high efficiency. Highly efficient backward bladed plug fans with low noise levels Backward bladed plug fans with superior aerodynamic efficiency are used in TEVHR units. Along with low sound levels, fans have high efficiency on the whole fan operation curve. Flexibility in installation due to alternative duct connections 2 additional duct connections are available in TEVHR units to provide solutions to different duct connection configurations. Connection directions of the unit can be changed by using one or both of these alternative duct connections. Easy maintenance for all components without the need of disassembly All components used in TEVHR units are detachable without needing the unit to be dissembled. The filters, fans and the recuperator of the unit are designed to be detached and maintained easily in ceiling floor with service doors. Non-flammable thermal and sound isolation material Flame retarding polyurethane foam is used in TEVHR units to provide thermal and sound insulation. Thanks to the flame retarding characteristic of the material, flame conductivity is reduced to minimum and the unit has become compatible with international standards. Stepless control panel and on/ off function In TEVHR units remote control with speed adjustment key is standard. By the remote control panel, flow rate can be set in infinite levels and the unit can be turned on or off. Panel has a LED screen that shows the unit s operating condition. 2

Accessories Automation Panel Room control panel provided with the unit is put into the door that unit will be conditioning and necessary connections are made according to the assembly guide. It can set flow rates of supply and exhaust air streams separately (L/M/H). The user can alter the fan speeds according to his or her preferences. Winter/summer operation can be chosen on the panel. In summer operation, only the recuperator is enabled whereas in winter operation the electric heater is enabled along the recuperator. According to the temperature set, electric heater automatically turns on and off in winter operation. With the Off button on the remote control, both electric heater and recuperator can be turned off. Unit control panel is located on the unit and makes the device operate according to the set values on remote control. Necessary equipment that is necessary for operation of recuperator and electric heater such as contactor, relay, electric terminal, capacitor etc. are located on the switch box. For electric heater and recuperator to work it is sufficient to make the electrical connection to the box and to pull power cables to the electric heater. There is also a ventilation on demand (VOD) feature available by means of optional CO 2 or Indoor Air Quality sensors designed to work with automation panel. Accessories Hot water Coil Teknogen hot water coils are used for after heating purposes with TEVHR units. Coil are designed for 90 C water inlet and 70 C water outlet to the coil. Coils are made of Copper tubes and Aluminum fins. With Teknogen control panel it is possible to control the coil capacity on/off according to the user set temperature in the room control panel. Teknogen hot water coils are designed with rectangular duct connection for low pressure drop eliminating the need for an adaptor.
