On Wednesday, August 10 th, Titusville Police and Fire department members, were present at all of the public and private schools inside the city to waive to students, parents and faculty as they returned to school from the summer break. This has become a tradition in the city and one that we look forward to each year. The intent is to not only welcome our students back to school but also inform our community that our children will be walking in school zones and to remind them to slow down. The students, parents, and faculty absolutely love this tradition and we thank everyone that was able to participate in the Welcome Back Initiative!
