The One Card administrator was present and observed damage to several of the doors in all three locations 1058 ( OF). 2 Monday May 23, 2011 Sunday May 22, 2011 Damage to Motor Vehicle: Officers were dispatched to the Enfield Quad for a report of damage to a vehicle. A visitor on campus reported backing into a wooden post but stated they did not want to file a report. There was no damage done to the post. Photographs were taken 0847 ( OF). Officers were dispatched to Emily Dickinson parking lot for a report of 2 bicycles stolen from a student. Officers took a detailed report and description of the bikes and will keep an eye out on campus 1412 ( OF). Marijuana, Possession: Officers were dispatched to Prescott for a report of the presence of drug paraphernalia in one of the rooms that had not yet been evacuated by a student. Photographs were taken and the items were confiscated and stored in an evidence locker 1433 ( OF). Saturday May 21, 2011 Officers and EMTs were dispatched to the Robert Crown Center for a report of an ill visitor. EMTs administered first aid and the individual signed a Refusal of Care form 1146 ( OF). Officers and EMTs were dispatched to Cole Science for a report of an ill visitor. EMTs administered first aid and the individual signed a Refusal of Care form (Case OF). B&E Nighttime for Felony: Officers were dispatched to Prescott for a report of breaking and entering. Officers met with a student who reported noticing a front window wide open and the screen had been forced from its track. Nothing was reported missing. A work order was submitted to Physical Plant to repair the damage 1721 ( OF). Friday May 20, 2011 Officers and Amherst Fire Department were dispatched to Greenwich Donut 4 for a fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was shower steam. AFD reset the panel and cleared the scene 0323 ( OF). Officers and Amherst Fire Department were dispatched to the Red Barn for a fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was a steam cleaner being used by custodial staff in the restrooms. AFD reset the panel and cleared the scene 0835 ( OF).

A report was taken from a student reporting two bikes were left in front of Merrill Dorm and were gone on 5/19. A report and detailed description of the bikes was taken and officers will look around campus 1305 ( OF). Thursday May 19, 2011 Medical Emergency - Intoxicated: Officers, EMTs and Amherst Fire Department were dispatched to Merrill for a report of an intoxicated student. EMTs administered first aid and the student signed a Refusal of Care form 0118 ( OF). Officers were dispatched to Dakin K building for a report of an expended fire extinguisher. When approaching the stairwell of the first and second floor and in the laundry room, officers observed yellow fire extinguisher dust in the area. Environmental Health & Safety was contacted 0824 ( OF). Officers and Amherst Fire Department were dispatched to Dakin for a fire alarm. When officers arrived, they observed a burning odor coming from one of the rooms. The Hampshire College electrician was dispatched to repair a refrigerator. AFD reset the panel and cleared the scene 1123 ( OF). Wednesday May 18, 2011 Officers and EMTs were dispatched to the Multisports Center for a report of an injured visitor. EMTs administered first aid and advised the individual to seek further care. The person signed a Refusal of Care form 1516 ( OF). Thursday May 12, 2011 Trespass Notice Issued: Officers were dispatched to the Bus Circle for a report of a person who has a history of harassing individuals on campus. Officers issued a Trespass Notice and escorted the individual off campus 0050 ( OF). College Policy Violation: Officers were dispatched to the Prescott Quad area for a report of multiple fireworks. The students responsible were identified and reminded that lighting fireworks on campus is a College policy violation 0133 ( OF).

Sunday May 08, 2011 While on routine patrol of Prescott, officers observed the strobes and sirens activated by a fire alarm. AFD was dispatched. The cause of the alarm was marijuana smoke. AFD reset the panel and cleared the scene. A work order was submitted to Physical Plant to repair the panel 0207 ( OF).
