The officer went to the second floor kitchen and observed the stove burner to be hot and grease splatter on the stove. The alarm was reset. Complete N/A 02/10/ /10/2018 Lee Wicker Hall Fire Alarm Activation Water Leak 6:53 PM 6:53 PM Officer responded in reference to a pipe that had burst causing a water leak. Facilities came out and drained the pipe until repairs could be made on Monday. The officer met with custodial who stated they had accidentally pulled the fire station while cleaning. The officer checked the area and reset the alarm. 5 Month of May, 2018 N/A 05/01/ /01/2018 E. Thomson Hall Fire Alarm Activation 3:59 PM 3:59 PM The officer responded to 311 E. Thomson in reference to a smoke detector sounding. The resident stated her roommate had just gotten out of the shower and the steam caused the alarm to go off. The officer reset the alarm. The officer did not observe any smoke or fire. The officer did observe that someone had recently taken a shower and maybe the moisture is what caused the alarm was go off. The alarm was reset.
