Design Review Committee Reviewed project on 1/11/18. Provided a recommendation of conceptual approval, subject to the following comments/recommendations. DRC Comments/Recommendation Applicant Response The DRC found that the white color, as proposed, was too modern and contemporary. Their recommendation was to provide a whitewash treatment to allow the brick texture to come through, thereby creating a historic feel. The DRC found the proposed window and door replacements acceptable; however, they recommended that the applicant use real steel on the window and doors to create authentic and historic look. The applicant is agreeable to this recommendation and their project plans have been modified to reflect this. Staff has drafted a condition of approval to implement this recommendation.
