Increased basis Knowledge of the blue matrix Improved knowledge of the blue matrix (rivers and moist environments). In order to conduct a study of the state of interrelation between the river communities and riparian communities, has been charged with Seo BirdLife other previous report evaluating the situation of plant communities, using for diagnosis of the different species birds as bioindicators. The values and conclusions contribution this first study will have a rough idea of what the status of plant communities. 1

ACTION B.3. Improving connectivity matrix Blue 1. Bruil Park. It has developed a project to promote the integration of Huerva River in Bruil park project is now under citizen participation. 2. Recovery Ebro / Gallego connectivity. The objective of this action is to retrieve the longitudinal connectivity of river corridors (pedestrians and cyclists) between the mouth of the river Gallego and left bank of the Ebro. It works on the design of these spaces and their connection with the GR99 on the road the Alfranca. ACTION B.4. Improving the ecological status of the blue matrix: banks of the Rio Gallego Ecological restoration of the Peña del Cuervo. On the left bank of the river Gallego a vertical cut carved by the river on the terrace level is located. Part of the Site of Community Importance (SCI) Under Gallego, considered Fluvial Interesting point. The basic principles of intervention are: 1. Riparian forest regeneration: clearings. afforestation, removal of diseased and dead feet, etc. 2. New plantings adapted to current conditions on the river bank. 3. ACTION B.6. Improving connectivity of green infrastructure Zaragoza has an extensive network of parks, gardens and green areas, which include the Parque José Antonio Labordeta and Water Park Luis Buñuel. The goal is to unite all these elements through streets / roads and wooded parkland, creating a network of sites and connectors that join and invite to walk and sustainable mobility. The structure of the paper includes a preliminary study of all possible options to make these green corridors; will be installed after the final route information panels, advertising panels and other elements of signage, to disseminate this information to the public and facilitate their understanding and use. ACTION B.7. Improve the ecological state of the green matrix This action is divided into two phases. 1. Forest Plan guidelines Torrero. The project aims at an early stage is drafting a document that characterizes the mass, both from a strictly forest-silvicultural view and from the point of view of Mount as a provider of ecosystem services. In particular with regard to the intensity of public use. 2. there will diagnose the forest that, in a second phase, allows addressing decision for management and handling. And later a Forest Plan Guidelines, involving action to overcome the ecological situation of apparent stagnation in the pine forest of Pinus halepensis that populates Mount Torrero is, and get natural regeneration and diversification of the mass. ACTION B.10. Campaign promoting civic environment Zaragoza The action is conceived as an action that can actively improve the perception and knowledge of the natural environment of Zaragoza by its citizens, both from the point of view and from recreational education, including environmental aspects at this point, but also cultural, and awareness of the economic potential of these spaces. To do the following tasks will be undertaken: 1. Travelling exhibition on Zaragoza ecosystems. Action B.10.1. 2. Design and production teacher book and note Natural Zaragoza School Life. 4. Photo Contest and creative nature. Action B.10.6. The contest rules were approved on November 3 by the Minister of Culture, Education and Environment of the City of Zaragoza, Jerónimo Blasco. The contest was launched the following day. 94 participants have registered and between 16 and 31 December provides for the publication of winners and awards. Follow the socioeconomic impact of the project Perception and citizen awareness of green infrastructure and monitoring of socioeconomic impact. Action C3.
