Situation and Amenities Maltby House lies on the eastern edge of Maltby village about 4 miles to the east of Yarm, one of the most popular market towns in North Yorkshire, and about 7 miles south of Middlesbrough. There are many opportunities for walking, cycling or riding along the Teesdale Way or in the North York Moors National Park and the coastal resort of Whitby is only about 33 miles east. Maltby is approached at the front through wrought iron gates over a sealed drive to a sweep at the front door.
