Are you looking for the perfect chandelier? HPV Lumière Classique is the only Dutch company to specialise in European designer lighting and has been restoring and manufacturing chandeliers since 1938. This restoration work is carried out in our own studio where we can access a unique collection of antique ornaments and original parts. Our showroom contains an extensive range of crystal chandeliers and other classic light fittings and we also offer unique items, lighting projects and lamps which you can design yourself. In other words: HPV Lumière Classique is the perfect place to come if you are looking for a chandelier.
Designer lighting Our showroom boasts chandeliers and lighting ornaments in various European styles and includes both modern and classic designs. We have our own workshop where we manufacture and restore chandeliers and are able to create unique, tailor-made creations or supply hundreds of examples of the same design.
Your own design Do you have specific requirements when it comes to a chandelier? Our design department often collaborates with architects and designers and would be happy to meet with you and discuss your wishes. Perhaps you want to change existing ornaments or maybe you have your heart set on a whole new design? We can realise all shapes and sizes and also design and manufacture more modern lighting creations.
Restoration Restoration is HPV Lumière Classique s core business. Our large collection of original ornaments allows us to perform faithful restorations. We have over 40 years of experience as restorers and are recognised by the Restorers society, the industry organisation for businesses that specialise in restoration and conservation. We adhere to the standards laid out by the Ethical Code commission and are affiliated to the Disputes commission.
Installation and maintenance Chandeliers have very specific installation and maintenance requirements and our in-house installation experts make sure everything runs smoothly. We can inspect existing suspension systems to ensure they are fit for purpose and can also fit new, tailor-made systems. Our installation team always works on the basis of direct contact, responsibility, customer-friendliness and professionalism. Once the chandeliers have been suspended you may also like to entrust us with their maintenance. Our maintenance team is well versed in the latest maintenance techniques and uses safe, environmentally friendly cleaning solutions. We can provide maintenance services on demand but you can also enter into a maintenance agreement if you prefer.
References RestauratoreN VERENIGING VOOR CONSERVERING EN RESTAURATIE ederland We have completed a number of important restoration projects over the course of the past few years and have collaborated with governments, restorers associations, including Vereniging Hendrick de Keyser, and large commercial partners. We also frequently receive requests from auctioneers and insurance companies for advice. A recent project, in the Schuilkerk in Diemen, which was completed at the request of the Monumentenzorg [Dutch national heritage] Amsterdam, was awarded the European restoration prize. We have also restored a number of chandeliers for the Royal Palace of Amsterdam on the Dam Square at the request of the Government Buildings Agency.
