The Right to Work for Persons with Disabilities International Perspectives March 8th-10th 2017 in Kassel (Germany)
The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Which developments and changes has it initiated? How open, inclusive and accessible are the labour market and the work environment for people with disabilities? At the international conference taking place March 8th-10th 2017 in Kassel, experts from all over the world will discuss and analyse these questions and ideas regarding the realization of inclusion. They will contribute to a global perspective on the right to (decent) work for persons with disabilities as a human right. The conference is organized by the Research Association Social Rights and Social Politics (University of Kassel, University of Applied Sciences Fulda), in cooperation with the International Center for Development and Decent Work (University of Kassel) and the University of Applied Sciences of the German Social Accident Insurance (HGU), sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
