Manufacturer Introduction All Valve Industries has aligned itself to leading manufacturers who have a proven history of reliable products, innovative thinking, and a total commitment to quality Caleffi is the leading Italian manufacturer of high-quality components for heating, cooling and plumbing systems and a supplier of high performance hydronic solutions. This Italian company is at the heart of an international group which employs approximately 1,000 people in its various sales offices and representative branches throughout the world. The success of Caleffi is based on total quality, which depends on the quality of every single operation involved in the whole production process. Therefore, all the actions of the staff (from design through production to after-sales service) are important. In light of the vital role played by alternative energy in social responsibility and the development of market opportunities, Caleffi decided to devote its new research laboratory to the development of components for solar energy and geothermal plants using energy created to power a percentage of the office needs, among other things. The main role of the centre consists of research into enhancing products already in the catalogue and tests on standard components with an emphasis on energy-saving features and top quality. Cimberio is amongst the very first company in its field to achieve BSI Certification to BS EN ISO 9002 in 1989, which is a historical step in their overall quality strategy. Since then, Cimberio has achieved certification to ISO9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 14001:2004 and SA 8000:2008 which shows their commitment to quality, ethics, environment and safety. In the year 2000, records show returned goods to have been just 0,007% of the total number of Cimberio units produced. Bearing in mind that most of these returns will be attributable to indirect causes e.g. installation defects, Cimberio can state that despite the huge number of items produced annually, their aim of zero defects has been substantially achieved. Cimberio s contribution can be summarised in just three words commitment to quality. Those who work with us, those who seek a new, higher standard for our industry can be sure of it. When a Cimberio valve is installed, everyone can relax in the knowledge that nothing will go wrong. Behind this peace of mind promise lies the history of a company which has always been dedicated to the aims of value and quality.

Balancing Valves Manual Balancing Valves Cim 787series variable orifice balancing valve is suitable for flow control in heating or cooling systems. These valves are usually installed on the return line to regulate the flow thus achieving balance between the various circuits of the system. The 787 series balancing valves are excellent Italian quality and are equivalent to the STAT type balancing valves. The valve features a thread locking mechanism so that valve settings can be accurately locked enabling the valve to be closed and re-opened to its exact pre-set position, as well as a setting indicator scale which can be read from any angle. Cim 747 series balancing valve is a fixed orifice style balancing valve and is suitable for flow control in heating or cooling systems. The fixed orifice double regulating valve utilises a separate fixed orifice for flow measurement and was designed specifically to overcome the accuracy problems associated with flow measurements across variable orifice valves. The 747 series balancing valves is the only watermarked balancing valve in Australia and feature excellent flow rates, +/-5% flow accuracy across the setting range, easy to read scale, and locking mechanism to enable the valve to be closed and opened to its exact pre-set location. Cim 3739B is a flanged balancing valve with variable orifice, used where an accurate flow measurement in large heating or cooling systems is needed. It is manufactured in dimensions from DN50 up to DN300. CIM 3739B flanged balancing valve is made of cast iron, with DIN16 flanges and it is suitable at working pressure up to 16 bar, within the temperature range of - 10 C and +120 C. This valve has the same dimensions, flange drilling and performance specifications as other brands in the market. Automatic Balancing Valves The 790 series is an automatic balancing valve which achieves constant flow by means of a cartridge. The wide selection of cartridges allows to match every flow requirement from a minimum of 0,007 l/s up to a maximum of 3,154 l/s. Cim 790 can be used either in constant flow or variable flow systems, assuring that specified flow would not be exceeded, even under fluctuating supply conditions. The automatic function eliminates manual balancing and commissioning, thereby significantly reducing the labour cost of balancing and the issues of improperly commissioned systems which in turn saves on energy from excessive flows.
