The Keystone Figure 4060 series is a Tyco manufactured resilient seated gate valve available in a wide variety of configurations complying to international standards. Features: World class design and performance, complying to international standards including ISO, EN, BS, AS, FM, UL RAL / GSK certified Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating, utilising fluidised bed technology guarantees uniform thickness & holiday free coatings, providing superior corrosion protection over the life of the valve. Multiple material configurations to suit a wide range of applications, including raw & potable water, Fire supply and aggressive media such as salt water and sewerage. Valve sealing rings are replaceable or repairable under pressure in all valve models All Keystone F4060 valves are manufactured by Tyco in a 100% Tyco owned and operated facility to Tyco s exacting standards. Valve fasteners are encapsulated with (removable) activated sealing resin for long term corrosion protection

Material selection combined with efficient lightweight design produces a valve with maximum durability and the minimum carbon footprint Wedges are completely encapsulated with high quality KTW & WRAS approved Elastomers and engineered acetyl plastic guides to reduce torque and prevent operational wear over the life of the valve. Acetyl inserts are moulded into the wedge casting with elastomer between the insert and casting and surrounding it to ensure complete encapsulation with no possibility of corrosion. Cold rolled (plastic deformed) stainless steel valve stems provide maximum strength and a polished sealing surface for O-Ring seals. A variety of Stainless Steel grades allow the valve to be tailored to a specific application. Multiple O-Ring stem nut assemblies on NRS valves allow seal rings to be changed with the valve fully open at full working pressure. DN 350-600 gate valves feature acetyl backed O-Ring supports housed in copper alloy to ensure maximum cycle life & reliability even in electric actuated valves. O-Rings can be replaced with the valve fully open at working pressure DN 350-600 gate valves include serviceable upper & lower roller bearing assemblies to reduce operating torque and wear. Bearings can be serviced with the valve fully open at working pressure Wedge nuts are cold forged from dezincification resistant copper alloys for maximum strength and consistency compared to cast alternatives.
GSK certified coating systems & traceability The life of any gate valve is highly dependant on the long term performance of the Elastomers and coating system. Tyco s Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) coating complies with international standards such as WIS, GSK and AS 4158. Tyco Water products and coating processes are GSK certified and carry the German RAL quality mark, ensuring only the highest quality coatings leave the factory. RAL German institute for quality assurance and quality marks Surface cleanliness and angular profile is critical to any coatings adhesion and performance. Coating adhesion >12Mpa is standard on all Tyco valves. 1 2 3 4 5 After gauging & tolerance inspection the raw castings are hung for shot blasting to clean the casting and provide profile for coating adhesion Profile & cleanliness are measured before the castings are pre-heated to 250 C for application of the coating powder The hot castings are dipped into a fluidised bed of epoxy powder which bonds evenly over the valve surface The coated castings are post heated to cure the epoxy and ensure it cross links onto the casting surface. Finally touch up of the hanging point and quality inspections including thickness, adhesion, holiday and cure, results are recorded against the valve batch. Cathodic disbondment and impact samples are tested and recorded weekly. Valve traceability After hydrostatic testing & final inspection each Tyco Water gate valve has a permanent laminated foil label affixed to the valve displaying the size & trim, manufacturing standard and type along with a bar code containing the valves individual serial number and production details to provide complete product traceability.
