WHAT IS A TDDP? A Transit District Development Plan is a plan that guides development around a transit station. Helps guide and coordinate development around transit stations Encourages transit use Promotes an integrated mix of uses Expands local and county tax base Enhances connectivity and safety Fosters a walkable environment Creates opportunities for new public and open spaces
WHAT IS A TDOZ? A Transit District Overlay Zone is a zoning overlay that modifies the uses and development standards of underlying zones. Creates design standards and guidelines to shape future (re)development around a transit station consistent with the TDDP vision and goals Promotes creativity and flexibility Outlines clear and consistent development review and public involvement process
